Day & Night Plumbing & Heating

We have used Day and Night Plumbing and Heating since the late 1990's. They have been prompt, courteous, knowledgable, and efficient. There have been a couple times when they have helped me with trouble-shooting problems and/or inquiries over the phone. What ever our plumbing and heating problems have been, we use them over any of the other companies. They are our first choice. more

From the first phone call, Day & Nite was trying to save me money. They looked up the warranty on my hot water heater and, finding that it had very recently expired, had me call Whirlpool "just in case." They were right, Whirlpool honored the warranty and I had a free water heater waiting at Lowe's. They offered to come that night, but I opted to wait until the next day, since the leak wasn't bad, and they talked me through shutting the busted heater down in the meantime. Doug exchanged the old one for me (I lack a truck), and had me up and running within a couple of hours. The whole experience was quick, efficient and reasonably priced. Day & Nite will be my go-to plumbers from now on (though I hope not to need them anytime soon!). more

Our water supply line from the street to our house failed on the morning of Christmas Eve, flooding the area around our home so completely that water started coming in through the basement walls. Day and Night sent several crews out to locate the leak, dig up the supply line, repair the pipe and restore our water service. We were able to celebrate Christmas in our own home, rather than a hotel. Not once did any of their crew seem upset that they were working on Christmas Eve. I will always be grateful for their prompt and professional service! more

Each person we encountered during our experience with Day & Night Plumbing was truly a competent professional. We had intended to get several bids, but when Randy Shirley came out and presented the product, there was no need to look further. He stayed in touch and coordinated the work schedule with kind patience (my husband’s work schedule is erratic and it wasn’t easy getting both of us to sit down with him). The expertise of each technician was evident in every phase, and they were neat, fast, personable. The heat provided is even and so convenient! We were surprised to see our electric bill only went up a small amount. The unit stays on at 62; we live in a block house on a slab floor and depend on woodstove/pellet stove for heat. No heat for longer than 12 hours used to require 6-8 hours to warm up the house; now it stays comfortable all winter. Set at 68, it kept us cozy during the really cold days as additional heat. We look forward to a summer requiring the air conditioning portion of the unit! We are thrilled with the heat pump and our only regret is not having it installed sooner! - Denise T. more

One of my family members had them come out and do some work. They charged them over $300 to put in one piece of wood and half a dozen screws to brace a pipe that was moving. It took the guy two hours, not sure what he was doing. Terrible if I could give them no stars I would. Avoid them at all costs. Now I have a mess of drywall to fix. more

They did a great job replacing both our heater and water heater. Referred them to 3 neighbors who also loved 'em more

Warning - do not ever use or call day and night plumbing & heating. I had my hot water heater replaced and the final price was more than Double what they originally estimated. They completely padded their time and billed me extra hours for time not spent working. Their management was completely unprofessional and didn't treat me well. I will never use this company again for any service. They also hired a 2nd plumber and billed me for their time too! Total Scammers Alert! more

Wow a company that believes in Great Customer Service and Satisfaction, hard to find this day and age. The entire crew were courteous, professional and helpful. I had them install a ductless heat pump and was impressed with this company right away, from the rep who came out to bid the job to the technicians that installed the system. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for excellent service . more

Good: These guys were able to get out to my house the same day I called. The price the quoted me was what I paid... no surprises. I had them replace my garbage disposal. They were professional, and cleaned things up when they were done.. Bad: No complaints.. Improvements: Online Billing would be nice. Other: I've used them before when replacing my furnace two years ago. Their heating division were just as good.. more

I had these guys out to clear a clogged drain in my upstairs bathroom. They came the same day, had it done in an hour and were on target with what they said it would cost over the phone. Most of all, they were clean and thoughtful. When I answered the door I was going to ask them to take off their shoes but they were already button on those shoe covers. I didn't have to say a word to protect my new off-white carpet. I would call them back again. more

I lost my gas heater in the middle of a winter storm. I had a tech out to my house with 4 portable space heaters in an hour. The next day they had a crew out to replace the unit with a much higher capacity. I am thankful that they gave me the space heaters the first day so I did not have to pay higher evening rates. I highly recommend Day & Nite. more

I would not recommend this company. I had a busted garage pipe right next to my outside faucet. The tech replaced a 12" piece of pipe. He was at my house for less than 1 hr and my bill was 550.00. I was told they bill by the job. I did complain and was given a 97.00 refund but that price is still way too high. I should have checked around. more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. I HAD THE TECH THERE 30 MINUTES AND THEN HE IDLED IN MY DRIVEWAY FOR 30 SO HE COULD PLUNGE ME FOR A FULL HOUR. THE BACK OFFICE PEOPLE WERE COLD AND RUDE WHEN I CALLED TO TRY TO RECTIFY AND THEY EVEN SAID I WAS NOT BEING FAIR. BE WARNED! YOU WILL GET FLUSHED AND IT STINKS. more

What can I say? I just received a copy of a bill from Day & Night Plumbing & Heating for over $400 and from what I can tell, they did nothing more than make a mess. I have a rental unit, and the tenant complained of a backed-up drain. The property management company sent out Day & Night. According to the tenant (and the bill) the plumber spent 3 hours and couldn't snake further than 10 feet. He without resolving the problem. The next day I called another service and met the plumber at the property. In under an hour he had not only fixed that problem, but fixed an unrelated drain problem on an exterior drain. I've notified the property management company to avoid Day & Night in the future, and I advise you also! more
