Consistently moderate 6/8/2009

After living in Shakopee for almost 8 years, I have been to Dangerfields a number of times. I've had holiday parties in their basement "event center", tried the Sunday Brunch and dined there a dozen or so times with friends. Everytime I am underwhelmed at the food. It always sounds good, but then never quite delivers. If you looking for a dinner out in the Shakopee area, run down to Jordan and try the OK corral. It's owned by the same people, but the food was better and the decor is fun. more

stay away!! 4/12/2009

Horrible service, cheap food!! OMG the bathrooms are so disgusting and dirty, worse than a gas station. Cheap buffet with nasty food.. The basement area is so horrible and cheap... STAY AWAY! Trust me now or learn for yourself... Friends of the new owner must have written the other reviews... more

Great Date Place 4/12/2006

My husband and I like to go to Dangerfield's when we find the time for a date night. The decor is based off of my favorite colors, forest green and burgundy. The menu is varied, from simple quick foods, to gourmet dishes. I've had the Walleye fingers and they are perfect, crispy on the outside and tender, not mushy, on the inside. If you can get a window seat, go for it! The Minnesota River meanders its way behind the restaurant. Sometimes you'll be lucky enough to see Bald Eagles! Or maybe a few swans. For the ambiance and the food, the prices are perfect. more

Best in town! 8/17/2005

This is one of my favorite places to eat here in Shakopee. The food is ALWAYS top notch, and it's complemented by their wonderful atmosphere and service. Several times while dining, the owner personally has stopped by our table just to make sure everything was ok. I've never had a bad experience here. The prices are a little higher than mid-range, so be expecting it, but it's WELL worth it! more
