I sought out Daher & Associates as I knew a girl that had gotten a job through them. After 9 years in the business and reaching the pinnacle in my agency, I was looking for career advancement. I knew that this would involve a commute and spoke to Liz about minimum salary requirements that would make the move sensible. She assured me it would be no problem to get a job offer in that range and set up an interview that day. The interview went well and the interviewer offered me $5K less than I had been currently making. I thanked him for his offer and time and explained that while I appreciated that salary was not always the deciding factor, in this scenario it played an important role as I was needing a salary increase and was adding the expense of a commute to take a job in Houston. He understood and said he would get back to Liz about a higher number as he was very interested. I spoke to Liz and she asked if I wanted to accept the job. I explained the issue with salary and she said not to worry that it would be fine and she was sure they'd meet my request. She offered to set up more interviews in the meantime and get back to me. I heard from her once more asking if I wanted to accept the job offer and I asked if they'd changed the salary and she said, ""No."" I reiterated my point about needing a higher salary and she said she understood and had several other places that were interested. Several weeks later, another person from the office called back and said, ""Hi! I'm just touching base and we hadn't heard from you in a while so I wanted to see if you were still looking."" I explained that in fact I was waiting for THEM to call me back but had since went with two other headhunters and had 2 job offers I was considering. That was 3 years ago and I still get calls from them every 6 months. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. more

They have had the same Corporate Risk Manager position advertised on their website since 1994! Obviously just a ploy to entice people to submit their resumes for the database. If they are unethical to start with in their representations to prospective candidates, it's hardly surprising that the majority of the reviews here are so negative. I would never use this firm. more

I had a horrible experience with Liz Daher and I would not recommend her or her agency to anyone seeking employment. I do not feel that Ms. Daher was actively pursuing jobs that were in my best interest. I do feel that she pursued job opportunities that were in HER best interest. I started getting a little irritated after not hearing from anyone after several interviews with the same company. I figured that everyone at Daher and Associates was extremely busy, so I called and was put off twice. Finally, I was able to get in touch with Liz after sending an email. I was told that the company that I interviewed with was very interested, but they were in ""budget talks"", so it would take a little longer to get any feedback from them. I called once a week for the next six weeks and to this day have never received a response. I was extremely dissatisfied with my service and I would never refer anyone to this company. more

Confidentiality is a must with this firm. Daher & Associates has been in business 18 years representing top executives. This is the most trust-worthy firm to work with. They are well connected in the insurance market place locally and throughout the United States. If your are in any doubt, call them, ask for references and you will be very happy with your findings.
