Service above Miami par, porbably due to quiet weekdays in this neighborhood. Food was great. Enjoy! more

Just following up with everyone's comments about this place, yes I ate there in early Feb and I came across the restaurants name here in US and saw everyone's comments of how bad the service is and they are 100% right, it is horrible and the food is bland to say the least more

My husband & I invited a couple to dinner at Da Vittorio. We selected this restaurant because it was listed as a Prime Card Member as 50% discount. I reviewed their website before making a reservation. Their website clearly states Everyday Happy Hours \r 5pm - 9pm in the Lounge\r $5 beer and wine\r $8 "you call it - we pour it" all premium cocktails. We arrived at the restaurant at 8:00 and had cocktails in the lounge before we went to our table. Our bill came to $261.36 before tip. After our Prime Card discount we would be responsible for $130.68. We did not notice that they charged full price for our Happy Hour drinks until we arrived home. When we spoke with the owner, Fabian Basabe, he rudely said that "we ate for free!" and he would not honor what his website states. He then said we were no longer welcome in his restaurant! He certainly does not need to worry since the meal was mediocre at best...our 1st clue should have been that the restaurant was completely empty on a Friday night and only 4 other dinner parties arrived while we dined...There are too many cordial and wonderful dining establishments in Miami that our deserve business! more

The poor owner may be a great socialite but not a great restaurant owner. Very nice people with a good business plan but the restaurant is poorly run. The personel lacks detail and attention to each customer. They get frustrated when asked for something and lack experience. more

STARVING is a better alternative than eating at this place. I attended a high school graduation dinner there. The food non-existent. No tableware or napkins on any of the tables. The waiters (when you could find one) totally uncaring. They were only interested in selling drinks at the cash bar! I sat there for 90 minutes without a thing. At that point, I was not interested. When they did bring a very small plate, it looked absolutely unedible. Save your money. Save your time. Enjoy the other wonderful restaurants in the Gables. They should do everyone a favor and CLOSE!!!!!!!!! more

Terrible experience, first the waiter was nowhere to be found and only showed up in 20 minute intervals, this was like going to buy a used car as they split up the meal prices and a plate that was worth $22.00 came up as $30.00, and then to add insult to injury for two persons they tacked on a 20% tip. Bottom line RIP OFF. Will never ever set foot in there again. more

one of the worst dining experiences in recent memory. while the food was good, the service was horrendous and the manager might have been the most incompetent manager i have ever dealt with. the servers were extremely inattentive and failed to bring simple things when asked for like bread, lemon, water. when we brought this to the attention of the manager, he could care less to what we had to say. he cut us off in the middle of our conversation and he returned with "shots" in the middle of our dinner, which were basically sugar water. who wants a shot in the middle of a nice meal? you can tell this is some spoiled kid whose parents just gave him things to shut him up and thats how he tries to deal with unsatisfied customers. i could go on and on about how bad the service was, and how the manager couldnt care less. we had to ask for the check 3 times. our coffee was served cold at the end of our meal. my friends rack of lam was first over-cooked, then undercooked- the sign of an immature chef. the busboys felt so bad for us, that a few of them personally apologized for the manager and said it happens all the time there. more
