I am here in ocean beach and wanted to spruce up my hair. Jade was extremely helpful and helped me pick a style that suited my face, personality, and hair type. It was super easy to get an appointment using the website too. I would definitely go back again and recommend Jade for anyone looking for a new stylist. more

great salon 5/29/2011

This was my second trip to Sweet Salon and my second styling with Steven. I am as pleased as I was the first time! Steven clearly loves his job and it shows! Even though he has cut my curly hair before, he made sure to spend time talking with me about what I liked and what I wanted. Got an indulgent head massage, and a superb blow out! Parking was a challenge, otherwise, amazing experience! more

I went in to get my hair cut because I didn't like how it looked before. I explained to Steven what I didn't like and what I was looking for. He listened and suggested a new style I haven't tried before and asked for my feedback regularly. I loved the experience and hair. more

Jade Rocks! 5/21/2011

Just had my haircut by Jade after a year absence (no fault of his) and it was as awesome as always. He knew exactly what I wanted, talked me through the cut before starting and then made sure I was happy with it before he finished. He also gives the best neck massage out there!!! more

I really like the atmosphere of Sweet Salon. The owner always updates the shop and it is enjoyable. I have my hair done with Julieanne and she does a great job with my color and cut. I am older, but she always gives me a updated look. My only conplaint about Sweet Salon is no one ever picks up the phone when I call. That is very frustrating to me. Also when I call and try to leve a message for my stylist, and the phone clikcs to her message board so I can not leVE A MESSAAGE. more

Great Looks for Our Family Wedding! 4/27/2011

We were from out of the area, needing hair and make-up for a family wedding. Julianne did a wonderful job with a lovely styling of my hair and great application of make-up, perfect for my son's wedding! She also styled my daughter's hair, just the way she had wanted, with long, soft curls. Toby did a terrific job with my other daughter's flat-iron styling. We were all very happy with the results and received multiple compliments at the wedding; thank you, Sweet Salon Staff! more

Communication is key, especially when you want a particular cut & style and I got the cut & style I asked for (which is hard to come by). Jade was also patient enough to show me how to style my own hair so that I can create the same effect:)) more

Been coming to Sweet (formerly D-lux) for almost 11 years now. My ex-wife got me hooked on the master with the shears. I have even flown back from the east coast to have Eric cut my locks as it would be sacrilegious to have any one else do it. more

I have been going there for 3yrs now, and I would not go anywhere else. Eric always has me looking great when I walk out the door. Not an easy task from someone who's mother is a hair dresser. I highly recommend Sweet Salon to everyone. It's easy to do when you know they are the best!!! more
