CC (Christina Cruz) is great! I have really thick, really curly hair and she handles it with ease! Plus, she always takes the time to straighten it, which is quite a project in itself! I felt wonderful after I left my appointment! Thanks CC!!!! more

Love this place! The environment is artsy (but not snoby) . It was a very comfortable place to be, everyone was young, hip, and very nice. And my hair looks FANTASTIC! I will def be going back there for my next cut! more

Stuephen Rodrigez is an amazing and creative hair artist! He alkways finds the perfect design for my hair lenght and is awesome with his color choices and applications. He is a true professional and I am lucky to have discovered him at Sweet Salon! Also the constant change in decoration of the salon with local artists work is always interesting and fresh! more

Erica Whitcomb totally rules... 10/7/2011

If yer a dude and wanna look cool just go see her. Everything will be just fine and all dandy and you'll be stoked too. I've been to almost everyone in SD and all over Seattle also. I located one great hairdresser in Seattle (Scott at VAIN Salon in Ballard), but Erica is better. She listens and knows exactly what to do. Have I mentioned that she's great yet? And always cuts my hair awesomely? ö¿ö more

Eric - The Hair God 10/6/2011

Eric has been cutting/highlighting my hair for 22 years. I have followed him all over San Diego (La Mesa, La Jolla, Hillcrest, Downtown, OB) .... need I say more? I have referred many friends and family to him as well and they are just as pleased. He is the only person I trust my hair to. more

I had my first experience at Sweet Salon a few weeks back. I'm a local Obecian and I wanted to find a salon that was close to home and would suit my needs. I got very lucky w/ Jade . He totally listened to me, did just what I asked for, and when I didn't really know what I wanted to do or wasn't clear, he clarified and confirmed by asking me questions, & getting clarity before proceeding. He heard all my concerns with a past stylist and went the extra mile to get me what I needed. more

I've been going to sweet for 5 years. I used to be so nervous about getting my hair cut. I would actually break out in sweat! That has all changed. I know, every time I go in, I will come out will a smile on my face. Oh, and get Linda; she is unreal! It doesn't matter if I'm getting color or just a trim. more

If you want a perfectly done cut, the see Jade Blanco. He took so much time to make sure that my haircut was perfect. I think moving to San Diego just got so much better because I now have an artist cutting my hair! I felt confident that he would do a good job, but am happy to know that my hair will forever look good with Jade cutting it! more

Erica = Celebrity Hairstylist (for sure!) 9/8/2011

I came to see Erica recently for an extreme cut - basically from long to nearly pixie. I was nervous because I've never gone this short before. In brief, it is the most amazing cut and I love it! Erica should be styling hair in Hollywood. I've never left the salon feeling anything but happy, and amazed by her artful craftsmanship. more

I had a great experience at the Sweet Salon. I came in and asked for a basic A Line Cut. It was a great cut but when I went home I felt like I had chosen the wrong look. I waited a week but decided to go back and get advice. Linda adjusted the cut to frame my face and I love my hair cut. Linda is the best. I have found a salon! Thanks Linda! more

I am so thankful to Sarah for taking a same day appointment, listening and implementing the exact up-do I wanted for a wedding. I wasn't feeling my best--overtired, not in the best health---and I felt so beautiful after Sarah's makeover. She is such a sweet, down to earth fashionista, I raved about her at the wedding and one of my friends booked her today for a photoshoot! I also felt like Sarah was a friend just by sharing one hour together. She has an "old soul" in a Zumba body! Thx! more

havent gotten my hair done in quite some time. i was refferred by a friend and i wont imagine that the sylist would do such a great job. love my hair sooo much. and would recommend all my friends, co-workers, and relatives to come to this salon. awesome job :D more
