D'Elegance Salon & Day Spa Katy

Okay...so I have read the ""positive"" reviews and people saying that they must be ""competitors"" writing the review. I am a professional woman in the oil industry. I enjoy going to a spa where I can relax. I am sorry, but I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND this spa to anyone. The negative reviews I have read are pretty right on. The positive reviews must be hired by a third party, false reviews of people who have never been there, or family members. When I go to a spa, I like to feel relaxed. I want to get my hair and nails done, and sometimes a massage. The employees there are WONDERFUL. The owners there are COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. They discuss their business problems openly and mistreat their employees. They are also rude to their customers. I have been there twice because of my stylist. She was WONDERFUL. I went there, because she worked there. The owners were so sad that they tried to steal my friend and me from our stylist! We made it known we were not there for them, we were there for her! Normally I would not do that, but I could not believe how they were mistreating their employees. I have no respect for business owners like this. If their employees were smart they would go somewhere else. There are much better places to work. Also, the owners had quoted me one price for my hair and color. When I was done they marked the price up. I asked why, they said ""we did not give you the right price."" I could not believe their unprofessionalism. Again, I hope you take my advice and do not attempt this place. Oh...and FYI...my stylist did leave! She knew she deserved better!! Thank goodness!! more

RUDE, DISHONEST, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.................I bought a $185 gift certificate for my sister for her birthday. It was suppose to be emailed to her. She recently moved from the Houston area and I checked to see how her spa day went. She never received the gift certificate. I felt so bad since it was her birthday present. I called the spa and spoke with the owner. He said that had a no refund policy and there was nothing he could do. Now, he is the owner, and he could do the right thing, but refused to do so. He could also tell that the gift certificate had never been used. He was completely unwilling to do the right thing and refund the cost of the certificate which she will now never be able to use. HORRIBLE, non-existent customer service. more

The staff at D'elegance Salon & Day Spa have done and will do any and all things possible to make your visit an enjoyable one. They're customer service is first rate with attention to detail. Being a frequent customer, my massage experiences have never been rivaled. Appointment times are met with a greet and a smile. It would be to your benefit to pamper yourself at this establishment as soon as possible. -G.M. more

Delegance is a great place to go and have a luxurious day at the spa they have lots of wonderful packages to choose from and the staff are always willing to accommodate your needs! This is the perfect little place for birthday, anniversary or just a way to say I love you more

Love this place. The negative reviews must be from competitors. The stylist who did my blowout and eyebrow and lip wax was amazing. I have not got my hair colored or cut here yest because I pretty much stick to a favorite, but I am definitely going to give them a try next week. They use Schwarzkopf which is just as good, if not better than Goldwell. \r I don't think I have ever been happier with the way she (I'll edit this when I find your name and card) styled my hair and as a natural blond who does not need a lip wax and has had a very bad experience wit one years ago, I went ahead and gave it a go...I figured if I looked like I had a red scar above my lip I could sleep instead of doing photos. It did not hurt a bit and after 3 months it still looks ok. Will be going in for a brow wax but i want to make sure the same girl is there. \r They sell Image Skin care products. Some of the best and not easy to find and do Guinot body treatments if you're into that.\r The owner/manager is extremely friendly and he will make sure everything is perfect. more

For me and my wifes anniversary i decided to get her a package from Delegance. I was confused on what type of package to get her but the lovely receptionist was eager to help me! I decided to get her 'Pamper Your Loved One' which consisted of sauna session, spa pedicure, Ocean splendor, 1 hour aromatherapy massage. I dropped my wife off early in the morning to get her services done because we had a dinner reservation in downtown. After picking my wife up later that afternoon she was glowing with happiness. And let me tell you i havent seen my wife so happy like that unless its in the bedroom. (if you know what i mean). She loved it and couldnt stop talking about it all night... even at the dinner reservation she kept blabbering about how they treated her with so much respect and offered her complimentary wine. Thank you delegance for helping my wife find something that pleases her besides me. hahah Thank You more

First time trying out Delegance Salon & Day Spa! I was astonished on how persistent the employers were to keep my satisfied happy and comfortable! Delegance gave me a good experience and i would love to visit them very soon! Thank you Delegance! more

I have read every review in Houston about Delegance. & I have one question... where do these people get these negative insults from? I tried out delegance many years ago and i am still an ongoing client of theirs. and from the reviews i have read (BAD) they dont seem nothin like delegance? Delegance is a peaceful place. Offered complimentary wine and with a package there comes a elegant lunch. Served with candles lit. For my daughters birthday i sent her to delegance and bought her an all day package. I also bought my daughter one of their packages that come with a limo service! My daughter loved it.. she could not stop talking about Delegance and how pleased she was with me to give her a gift like this. Im glad my daughter appreciated it.. . Delegance truely defines the meaning of elegance. And if you know anything about GOOD SERVICE and CLASS then you know delegance is just that. The place is elegant , both places; Houston location and Katy location. Thank you Delegance for pampering my daughter and giving her what she deserved... When we consider going to a day spa first thing that comes to mind is .. is it even Good? I reviewed Delegance from many sites. Read some good and some bad reviews. I was a little skeptical about if i really wanted to try this place out. But i did anyway.. i gave it a shot! I have been to many day spas around the world, From cali to miami and my hometown houston! I have been all over houston searching for a Good day spa.. thats not just filled with asians (pardon me) but we all know some oriental palces are not at all good.. especially the fungus that some of them carry. I was astonished from what i got out of Delegance! They are not only rated as #1 top day spa in houston but i think they deserve a reward for client appreciation. They truely treated me as if i was a queen? I enjoyed this day spa very much so... and i would love to visit this place more often! I consider anyone and everyone to try this place out before reading these reviews. I certainly was not going to try this place out because of some reviews.. but goodness are those reviews wrong! Who knew that you could be treated like royalty in any business? Especially a day spa?!!! Decided to take this place into consideration. Everyone has been talking about Delegance.. rated as #1 top day spa's in Houston. I read most of the reviews.. some bad.. some good. But you cant believe everything you hear right? Well thats exactly the motto that i live by. I checked this place out to see for my self. I received a blow out for my hair spa pedi and mani. The lady that did my pedi was a very nice woman. She offered me a beverage which was very polite of her. The employers talked to me adn kept me company which i appreciated. Over all this experience was a very good one. I suggest anyone who wants to try out a REAL top of the line day spa to try this one out! For the bad reviews that i read didnt make sense at all? First time having services from this day spa. I was a little nervous but when i arrived the employers made me feel comfortable. offered me complimentary wine! The packages are amazing.. offers limo service and lunch on the house. I decided to get a whole day package. Received a massage by a very good masseu Ana. Got my nails done by Betty. Over all my expierence was good! I recomend anyone who enjoys a peacful day at the spa this is the place to be. I will be coming back! Thank You delegance more

Went in Blond with an angled bob. Came out looking grey and like they cut my hair with a bowl on my head.\r Hairdresser but dark brown all over my head then put back in 4 foils for highlights. I left with 1/4"" roots showing. Way overpriced for the job they do. more

I've heard good things about Monica, so I booked a waxing and facial with her. She half-a$$ed the waxing, left patches of hair down there, and she did nothing but complain about how much she was tired of doing brazillians. She didn't even go over the area with tweezers, so when I got home I had to remove what she didn't. She did my facial afterwards and the experience was lacking. She didn't even do an extraction! Which was why I needed a facial, to unclog my pores. Way over priced for a job half done! Cons: too much Hype more

I chose this spa because I have gone to the one on Westheimer which was wonderful. I do not recommend the KATY spa. The staff was not very professional. The facial and massage was not for the full allotted time. The products used were not quality. The pedicure took forever. Experience was lacking for all services. Best Brazilian on this side of town for sure! From what i understand Monica is well known around Katy for her advanced medical skin knowledge and designing some beautiful eyebrows! But boy does she do a mean brazilian wax & super fast! She is super friendly and makes it easy and comfortable. One thing i will say is the owner and administration at this place sucks! Lots of bad attitudes in there! I've also noticed the salon side needs alot of work! The stylist are always on the phone while working. I would never get my hair done here! The massage therapist talks way to much for anyone to enjoy their service! Anywho the only reason this place has my business is SOLELY because of Monica. A couple of months ago my husband got me a gift cert. to D' Elegance Salon & Spa in Katy. On yesterday I called to make an appointment and the clerk booked for me for today (30-Oct). Unfortunately my 2yr old son woke up with a cough & fever so I couldn't take him to daycare and my appt for the spa was at 11. So I called the spa to reschedule and immediately the clerk told me there were no refunds & they require a 48hr notice. I explained to him that I didn't want a refund only to reschedule & I had just made the appt. the day before and he bluntly asked me what was my problem & why couldn't I come in later today, and I repeated my situation. At the end of the convo he speedily said well you have a nice day & hung up on me! So I called back to speak with managent and he told me he was the owner/ manager! I told him that his customer service skills & professionalism needed work & that I would not be recommending his place of business. I had to tell my husband that i couldn't redeem the certificate b/c there is no way I would sit in that place after being treated horribly over the phone. $200 wasted... Pros: NONE! I had a brazilian done by Monica and it was by far the best! I found Monica through city search as they listed her best brazilian in Katy Tx! So i am writing a review in hopes that someone else looking for an awesome person to go to this might help them. I was a regular at the well known Helena's brazilian in the galleria area bc they are the most popular in houston and don't get me wrong it was good but Monica here in Katy at Delegance was Excellent! i will follow her where ever she goes! Very sweet, very attentive and extremely fast and the least painful brazilian. Monica your are awesome girl! These reviews below are very true! Ladies if its your first time to have one done don't worry about feeling uncomfortable at all. She makes you feel extremely comfortable and she knows what she is doing! I have been to alot of places for Brazilian waxing and have had horrible experiences!!! I was a little bit scared to have one again, but i thought what the heck! Summer is here! So i heard about Monica the Medical skin therapist, and her facials are OUTSTANDING by the way, anyway, A friend of mine had recommended me to go to her and her only for my wax. She right away was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable and knew what she was doing! I do not like to go to multiple places for that particular wax and its so awesome to have found her! So KATY TX! GO SEE HER! She is so Precious and Easy to talk to and open up to! Even just talking with her is worth paying money! I agree with the review below completely! Now the Brazilian is a bit pricey i think $75 or $85 but she is by far the best and worth every penny and she will have you out in 25 minutes or less! You will not be let down! Her Facial and tension massage is amazing! The parking during lunch hours is a bit of a pain but eh... its not always hard to get a parking spot. You must check it out! Monica is by far the BEST skin therapist in Katy! Finding a good skin therapist is like finding a good boyfriend! HAHA! SLIM TO NONE! SHE DOES THE BEST BRAZILIAN EVER AS WELL! I used to go to Cinco Spa since they are the ""best"" and they messed me up and Butchered my eyebrows! Monica got me back on track fixed my brows and my skin! She does the best Waxing and Facials in all of Katy Tx! She is super sweet, soooo cool and makes you feel very comfortable when you are with her! She is Funny too!
