I love Dr. Vicki Lawerence at CyFair Pet Clinic she took care of my husbands dog before we were married, she took care of our dog Tootsie Girl, and now Beasly. This office staff and other dr. And assistants are top class, compassionate, and love animals and their owners I highly recommend them to anyone...VERY SATISFIED! more

I have been going to Cy-Fair Pet Clinic for 8 years and love all of the staff, they are kind and caring.\r Dr. Lawrence is the best in my opinion, she takes her time explains everything and answers all your questions. They genuinely love animals. There prices may be a little higher than some other vets but I am willing to pay for the treatment you receive when you take one of your pets there. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 11/20/2012

We've been taking our pets to cy-fair for 3 years. Two cats and a dog. Dr. Lawrence and the techs have always taken the time to explain the diagnosis' and have been availble for us after hours when needed. In addition, compared to most vets in the loop, the pricing is very reasonable and pet care can be very expensive. We'll be loyal customers for years to come. Cy-fair Pet Clinic's staff have alwasy been very compassionate with my animals. more

Too busy complaining about halitosis from my pet and insisting on a dental cleaning, the vet totally missed the fact that the animal was in renal failure and that is what was causing the bad breath. She also missed thryoid disease. Thankfully, there are more reliable, knowledgeable and less condescending vets in the area. more

great place 11/21/2011

This is a great place to take your loved one. You and your pets time is valuable. They will work with you on prices and try and give you the best possible price. I have gone to many different vet clinics to get them to look at my min pins broken leg to get different prices. They gave me the best possible price for his surgery which was 1500 when other places were wanting 2500, they understood that we did not have the money at the time to fix it so they did what ever they could to help my little man for the time being. They would call to check up on him and see how he was doing every 2 days, which I thought was very nice to know that they actually cared. I would defenantly recremend this place. more

One of the vet techs (female) is rude. Had an issue picking up prescriptions with this lady more than once. This vet clinic has great front desk assistance - very friendly. These people make it a friendly atmosphere. Vet is knowledgeable but they tend to be high in price a bit. more

Excellent Pet Care! 12/15/2009

I began taking my pets to Cy-Fair Pet Clinic about seven years ago. They have always been kind, caring, compassionate, and definitely have the pet's AND the owner's best interests in mind. Recently Dr. Lawrence and her staff went way above and beyond when treating our newest puppy for Parvo. They pulled out all the stops and our little guy pulled through. We've adopted this clinic as part of our family as they love our animals as much as we do! Pros: Staff that is willing to go the extra mile! more

HORRIBLE SERVICE, LACK OF COMMUNICATION, FAILS TO RELEASE ANIMAL RECORDS 12/8/2008

Some background information - Took my two pets to her. One was a foster pet I had from the SPCA. Before adopting a pet the SPCA's vets give clearance and have the animal examined. The dog had an ear infection and needed his nails trimmed. Over $400 later, I was told the dog had mange, double ear infection, some other health ailment and was charged $12 to clip his nails, which only seemed to be BARELY filed. I watched the tech do it and she didn't have enough patience to complete the task properly. At check-out, I was told the amount due, which was startling, but I planned to pay it in full because no one told me I had any other alternatives. I wrote a check, which the office ran through telecheck and all was okay. At the time I was going through a separation with my husband and he stopped payment on several checks going through our bank account at the time...one of which being the check to the vet. I didn't know until weeks later and called their office. No return phone call. I assumed they would contact me in return to make arrangements for the payment. I had planned to simply bring the payment in cash to their office. However, none of this happened. The vet immediately sent my account to her ""attorney"" (who seems to be a friend or relative based upon his strong opinions of the vet as such a GREAT person, etc.. No one from the vet ever contacted me. This was a situation that couldn've been handled...not a ""bounced check"". To make matters worse, the vet either unintentionally or intentionally misdiagnosed the dog I was fostering. He did not have mange! Yet, that was the most expensive diagnosis and test out of the services rendered during my pet's visit! I took my pet to another vet who adamently denied any sort of skin disorder. NOW, the vet is refusing to release my pet's records to me or another animal clinic! My pet needed to get heart worm preventative. The new vet needed to see the negative heartworm test result, but Cy-Fair refused! Pros: extended hours Cons: everything else! She bad-mouthed my dog's breed the entire time I was there! more

Caring clinic, great surgeon, compassionate animal lover. 10/28/2008

I have been going to this clinic for 24 years. Dr. Vickie Lawrence has assisted me with my pets through their life cycles, which includes 4 cats and 1 dog. Her service is professional, personal, caring, and to the point. She is a very good surgeon. i have relied heavily on her advice with all of my animals. You can tell that she loves animals. Pros: Great surgeon, reasonable prices, convinient location, easy to get appointment more

The last review does not apply to this vet 10/30/2007

This vet is NOT open 7 days, and is only staffed by Dr. Vickie Lawrence, except for rare occasions when she was on vacation. We have taken our very loved dog there for several years. Pros: Some late evening hours and Saturday mornings. more

Horrible Veterinary Clinic! I would not take any loved animal to this establishment!! 10/25/2007

This clinic is open 7 days a week. That may seem great to some for average visits, but to those who have a sick animal; BEWARE! Their Vet that is staffed is DIFFERENT every day or two! My Puppy was there for a week so throughout her stay she saw 4 DIFFERENT doctors who all had DIFFERENT approaches to treating my poor puppy. One wanted to do as much medical treatment as possible, and did while they were there. The next day, the next vet did not feel this was a good idea and did the opposite. They put my puppy through a rollercoaster. I would have much rather them stuck to a plan. Then, to make things worse, when I questioned the activity, one vet actually bad-mouthed the other 3 vets!!! That was not very comforting. They did not check on my puppy and allowed her temperature to drop 10 degrees below average and she was in for a sickness that needed extensive monitoring and care. Please, Please! ask questions before you go to this vet...if you are actually willing to risk your animals life. Pros: Fairly Clean Cons: Too many vets who can not form a course of action and stick to it together more
