Going to get a my hair done before was just about maintaining until I found Karina. She brought out the best possible me. I never thought my hair could be so beautiful, shiny, almost luminous and full. She always makes me feel like a princess when I get in her chair. I rely on her now for all my auditions and special events for that perfected look. I also have seen her pull off the most amazing colors. Anything from completely natural to mermaid blue and green. She should be working in films!!! I'll be getting the Vega treatment before someone discovers her and we will be begging to see her. more

Karina Vega is an artist! \r An artist in her craft, everytime I leave her chair, even I can't stop looking at myself.\r Her precision with the scissors is amazing, my bangs are always flawless! \r And that says alot, it takes experience and passion to create perfect bangs.\r Karina has been styling my hair for the past 5 years and I will never leave her chair for another!\r She makes me look stunning and super fabulous!\r If you are considering a new stylist, Karina's chair will be a chair you will be forever glad you sat in! \r The salon itself is great, they have a little cafe, cool art on display and parking is always available on the main street. Not only is Karina Vega extremely talented, she is someone that you want to become friends with. She's been doing my hair for over 3yrs and I have not once been disappointed. She cuts and colors my hair like no other, but I must say her blowdrys are to die for! She's not cheap but she is definitely worth ever penny!!!!!! more

I own an art gallery, so my appearance is very important to me. I make sure to go for color and cut before every opening so i can look and feel my best. Karina is the best hair stylist i have ever seen. I looked for so long\r to find someone to give me that fresh, hip haircut and i finally found it with Karina. She is AMAZING!!! It was actually by chance that I received Karina for a cut- I have been to many people and I will never go anywhere else... She is so talented and has such a great eye for style... after moving, I now travel a ways to see her- but she's worth it!! I love Khoa. Have difficult hair to cut. It's long and slightly wavy. Have searched everywhere and when I found Khoa I was forever grateful. He is so talented. Get so many compliments on my hair now that he is cutting it. Love Cush. Very friendly atmosphere, without attitude. Love the design and artwork. I have been driving over an hour to the same stylist for over 8 years out of fear of change - you know how you know you need to update but are scared to actually make the move? I finally did it - and I'm so happy I found Riffe at Cush Salon! He is absolutely amazing! Not only did I come out with a versatile cut - it's edgy and yet completely appropriate for business, but I also had the MOST AMAZING new treatment - a scalp massage/hair pulling (yes, very exotic and feels like....hmmm....use your imagination here...!). You MUST try it - feels fantastic - total bliss. I walked out completely relaxed and with shining hair. Riffe really listened to what I wanted and took the time to give me a precision cut that falls into place perfectly. ( Dosn't hurt that he's HOT and his scalp massage will make you MELT!!!) I used to think I had bad hair and no style, but I found Chassi about 15 years go, and now I always get compliments. I am a low maintenance type of person, and she makes that possible, with style, by giving a great cut that lasts for months and goes through several different looks. I have no idea how she does it! She's also so sweet and quirky, and the salon is great. highly recommended. Pros: everything, but especially chassi Cons: parking, but it could be worse more

I love going to Cush and Riffe consistently gives me a cut I am proud of. He is laid-back and charming and works magic with his shears. The atmosphere makes me smile, the food is really sensational and it is in the best location. I'm on my way there now! This was my first time at this salon. My first impression includes the following: Riffe was very personable, a great conversationalist & had a good sense of humor. He took his time cutting my hair & I never felt rushed. The salon has a warm environment, was very hospitable & un-assuming. Riffe is an excellent stylist - I was very, very satisfied with my cut. I recently had my hair cut by Cush's newest sytlist Riffe. He did a phenomenal job. I have long stick-straight hair that is difficult to cut well. I wanted something different w/ more movement. Alizabeth Denman continually creates beautiful looks for my hair. I have been in the Entertainment Industry for many years and Alizabeth is one of the only people I will let touch my hair ( I have worked with her Shoots too, She is an Excellent Presence On Set as well as being Hugely Talented with hair ) She Is that Good.... and the Vibe is Great at Cush Salon, really Super Cool and Totally Artsy but without the Attitude, the Space is Open and Light and Comfortable. If you want a fabulous haircut and beautiful color -- look no further than Angela Rushing at Cush Salon and Cafe. Angela is an amazing stylist who always give me a fresh new look. She is so engaging and fun and Alex, her assistant, completes the experience with his glam looks and to die for shampoo/massage!!! The salon itself is hip, relaxing and alive! The Cafe's food is delicious and you won't need to eat again until dinner when you must go out that night to show off your new incredible ""you!"" Angela is a must-see in my book! more

She has this amazing ability to completely focus all of her attention on you. I love spending the time with her because she not only listens to what you are saying, she isn't distracted or impatient. She has the most attention to detail I have ever seen in a stylist. She is an artist in the simplest sense - she wants to help bring out the most beautiful YOU possible. I've been going to Angela for about 2 years and I have to say, she's taken the dread I typically feel\r when going to a hairdresser. She was the first hairdresser that got it when I said I wanted something\r a little funkier. \r The 1st time I went to her, I walked away very excited about my hair cut which then lead me to \r try color w/her. Up until that point I went to 1 person for cut & another for color.\r Finally I've found someone who great @ both!\r \r ....And that cafe is really good also, I was really surprised & trust me I'm very picky about my food!! more

When I walk into Cush I immediately become relaxed and at ease. The environment is eclectic and invigorating. The cats are cool and spunky here...meow!! I especially enjoy spending time with my stylist, angela. She immediately makes me feel like number one, you know...queen for the day. She has a prescence and intuition that will make you look and feel gorgeous. Don't bother bringing pictures, seriously. She is a true artist and will work with you on a vision, just by talking. I am amazed at her attention to detail and her ability to create. My particular style requires extensive highlights. Angela carefully takes my hair, strand by strand and coats them individually with several different colors. She combines a unique color for each portion of my hair. As a teacher by day with a busy new york social schedule by night, I need to maintain a rocking yet elegant look. The results are visually beautiful each and every time. I especially love the way she gives me tips on how I can maintain my look on a daily basis. A day with angela is truly a special experience. more
