I have had Curtis Total Service come to my home over the past four and a half years for various issues. When I purchased this home, which I do love, I had no idea of the amount of issues that would be forthcoming. The team at Curtis is knowledgeable, courteous and very service oriented. They know how to fix the problem and do it quickly. I advised them that I would never call anyone else!!. I trust them with my home and their experience is top notch. You can not find anyone better than them. more

My husband and I were somewhat shocked when our decision to replace an old, short toilet with a new but no-frills taller toilet ended up costing $920.00!! Our technician, Scott, was great and our bathroom looked neat and clean when he was finished. I could do without the color brochure spelling out all your services if that could cut costs for your customers. We just wanted a new toilet. more

I have had several service calls with Curtis and always have had a good outcome. The staff and repair people are always professional and courteous. And best of all, I've never had to call anyone else to fix a supposedly repaired plumbing problem as I have in the past. That's a very good thing! more

Jacob was thorough, experienced and did an excellent job. He was here for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. The fix was not difficult but the charge of $252 for the time spent and materials required seems to me to be exorbitant! more

Plain and simple: we had no water and Curtis Total Service fixed our problem. No hassle, no delays. Jose was accompanied by a project manager and both were a pleasure to work with. I was educated on the problem and told what kind of work would be done. Jose did a great job on the repairs and installation of new parts. Both gentlemen were courteous and worked efficiently. Curtis helped us with multiple improvements to prepare our house for rental, and they provided regular inspections of the rented house. Over the past year, they eliminated several emergencies, including breakdowns of gas heater, water heater and air conditioner. Curtis service is very reliable and considerate. I wasn't really pleased with Curtis Total Service because I felt I got charged for them to do nothing. He could have fixed the problem real easy but he didn't. They made me wait longer, so I found someone else to do it easier and cheaper. RESPONSE FROM Curtis Total Service: Thank you for the 4 star review! Our technician recommended a new water heater from the start. This customer purchased their own water heater, then had a friend install it after declining our offer to replace it. more

I used Curtis Total Service many times and I'm not at all happy with them. Every time they came into fix one thing, they would find something else they would tell me needed fixing and then ask for a lot of money to fix. The last time they did this I got really mad. Their man went out of my laundry room where he was supposed to be working and went into my bathroom and inspected the toilet, the shower handle and the aerator. He told me I should have this contraption put on the toilet, which would save me money. Ever since they put that contraption on, I've had to flush two or three times to get the bowl clear. This never happened before their contraption was on there. He also wanted to replace my shower handle. Then they charged me a large sum for that. When I called, the man, Richard Price, was very rude to me. He yelled that I had signed something. I had but it didn't say how much, and they never gave me a copy so I didn't know. He was rude and sarcastic and so I canceled my yearly contract with them. One time their man also went out to my storage area outside for an inspection and didn't put the insulation back on the water meter. Later on the lady upstairs had hers freeze and there was water coming into my house. They never apologized or anything. I am happy to report after speaking with this customer her issues were resolved and she is now a GOLD CARD member once again! more

Showed up in less than 1 hour, clean, courteous, friendly and professional. Replaced parts and fixed the leak on the first try without any problems, cleaned up the area when done. I was extremely happy with the service and the repair, although it was a bit expensive. But in a emergency or with a difficult problem they will be my first call. more

Was told the service call was $60, when tech arrived he told me about a $270 maintenance agreement that would have them come back twice - once to look at heat and once to look at ac - and that would include he analysis of the system (so initially I thought OK) - well he hooked up a tester to heating system and proceeded to tell us that it would be $800 installed, plus another $60 for service call and $270 for contract (I decided I wanted to check into part and opted for the $60+125 for tech check $185 for a 1/2 hour visit and diagnosis!! Asked tech to see if he could get gas re-fired and he said he tried twice and it wasn't going to fire (after he left I looked in manual and reset system by shutting down for 5 minutes and its been working fine ever since (why couldn't the tech suggest that?) It was a below 32 degree night and we are a family of 4 - so I guess it was better to pressure us into thinking we'd be without heat ! RESPONSE FROM Curtis Total Service: Our tech felt the system needed service and did quote our contract for $278.00 Which included two services per year, disount on repairs, two year parts and labor warranty, etc. Upon inspection of the furnace the tech found a bad gas valve. The furnace saftey had shut down the unit for a reason, this means that their is a problem. After telling the customer that he needed a gas valve replacement the customer declined the repair. Which is his decision. However shutting off the unit and clearing the memory of the problem is not a fix. At Curtis Total Service we do things by the book. Remember Saftey, Reliability, Energy Savings are our commitment to you and your family you should never settle for less. Telling someone to reset a gas furnace is no safe solution. more

Having Curtis Total Service providing regular check-ups on the systems of our home is great peace of mind, and when you need them in a hurry, they'll be there for you!! Last winter we lost heat - one small part in our unit needed to be replaced. As a loyal customer, we received prompt, awesome service & we were warm within hours of realizing our problem. more

sorry I am late. I had walking pneumonia and am now recovering more or less. My experience with Curtis was very good. Jason and Jacob were on time, I didn't have to wait for an appointment, and the whole experience was excellent. more

After using a home warranty for 5 yrs we had enough of unprofessional contractors that didn't fix the root of issues. Our neighbors use Curtis and love the service quality. more

Used a coupon for a free service call to fix an overhead light that did not work. Repair man told me he would have to do a diagnostic test for $234 to determine the problem. He did not look at the fixture. Had I known that was the only way the problem could be fixed I would not have scheduled the service call. I feel I should have told up front when I made the appointment that there would be a $234 charge just to diagnose the problem. RESPONSE FROM Curtis Total Service: This customer had our tech out to look at some three way switches that didnt work. We told her over the phone how much the service fee is, she booked the call knowing we cannot diagnose her problems over the phone. When the tech arrived he spent 10 minutes with her looking at the electrical switches,light, and talked to her about what was going on. Then before any work was done we quoted her the price of the diagnostic repair to remove and check the switches, wiring, etc. She declined the work. That was her decision. At Curtis Total Service we quote all work upfront so you always know the costs before any work is done. more
