This vet markets himself as "east meets west", which is well and good, but it's been taken too far. My dog has arthritis, and the vet here said he would benefit from acupuncture and be all better. These acupuncture treatments are a couple of hundred dollars each, and you have to go to several. After being disappointed with the lack of improvement in my dog, I took him to another vet, and after a quick exam and a $30 bottle of Curaflex bonlets, my pup is dramatically improved. Dr. V never even suggested this route. Also, this clinic will suggest "alternative" heartworm prevention therapies, which don't really work. Sorry, but immune support won't stop heartworms from infecting your dog, and you'll pay hundreds to treat your dog for heartworm infection, which is lethal if not caught. If you care about your pets and want the best, scientifically supported therapies, then go elsewhere. I use herbal supplements in my dog's food, and they do carry a great brand of food here, but sometimes Western medicine works better. And is a hell of a lot cheaper. Makes me wonder if they're just after a fatter bottom line. My neighbor boarded her dog there, and it came home with a nasty case of runny stool and a hefty bill for the necessary meds. The receptionist told my neighbor the stomach flu was "going around the kennel". So this place is responsible for not keeping the kennel clean, and my neighbor had to pay for it!! And unless you live waaaay out west, don't bother. This place is really far away except the few of us that live near it. I would say entrusting your pet to this place is dangerous and costly. Go elsewhere!
Pros: Good brand of food here
Cons: Not much else
