Crown Carpets

We were looking for a house full of carpet, quick quick quick... like the next day. Of course we did it a few days later, to make sure we got a good deal we shopped around and get a measure. Crown had the carpet, best price and quick install. If you're in a hurry, don't waste your gas, just go there first.... you won't find a better deal. Very, very pleased and happy. Horrible Customer Service. Management does not stand behind damages their in-house installation guy caused while installing carpeting. I just spent $3,000 on a stairway and hall with them and Bob and in house installer for Crown cracked a bathroom tile at the threshold while trying to fix a tack strip. I contacted Crown Carpets immediately to report this and that I had extra bathroom tile that he could use to replace the porcelain tile he cracked. Accidents happen but Management at Crown Carpets refuse to have the installer come back and repair damage. Their excuse is that the installer has denied cracking the tile and since its his word against mine they are under no obligation. Is this a joke or what? I had planned to use Crown for future carpeting but live and learn. They lost my future business all because of a $5.00 cracked tile. When you do business with Crown Carpets you do so at your own risk. more

We purchased and had our flooring installed through Crown Carpets of Tigard. We had a truly wonderful experience replacing new tile in kitchen, family room and foyer, as well as new flooring in the bathrooms and new carpeting throughout the rest of our home. We worked extensively with Doug and his ""crew"". Doug took us through each step with this large purchase. He assisted us to make sure we received the best buy for our money rather than the most expensive. We were not rushed in any way. We were able to take home samples of all the types of flooring (carpet, tile, laminate, vinyl, etc) in which we were interested (in different colors/textures). We were encouraged to look at them all in different lighting (on/off, day/night, sunny/cloudy) as well as taking into account our usage (kids, grandkids, dogs, relaxed and more formal, easy clean-back to the kids and dogs...) which helped tremendously with our choices. Mike came out and measured the entire house, then Bob and the rest of the crew installed the flooring. All did a magnificent job and were absolutely professional. I recommend Crown Carpets as the best way to go if you need flooring of any kind! more

We bought our laminate flooring here the other week and had a good experience. Our salesman was very knowlegeble and polite and didn't mind answering the dozens and dozens of questions that my husband and I asked and gave us installation tips. Pros: Nice staff, good showroom more
