The Most Helpful Camera Store in KC! 11/8/2010

I purchased my first Digital SLR at Crick Camera over 2 years ago. I am now on my second SLR after "growing" out of the first, and CC has been incredibly helpful the whole time. In the beginning I called them often with some of the lamest questions, but they were always incredibly patient and helpful. I will forever be grateful for their tutelage as I grow in the photography field. more

Crick Camera Shop 11/18/2008

The staff here went out of there way to explain different cameras to me and I never felt pressured to buy a more expensive one. They also do passport photos. more

Good service, but Costly 2/9/2008

Unlike the other reviewer, I have not had a poor experience with Crick Camera. In fact, I have found the staff to only be extremely friendly and helpful. Particularly, as an avid amateur, they have avoided treating me with disdain when I do not completely know a matter of technology or skill. I have had only extremely good results from using their photo lab, for 35mm, slide, and digital prints and enlargements. That said, their prices are rather high, and a knowledgeable shopper can find cheaper equipment by ordering online. more

My experience with Crick Camera and specifically the owner has been rather frustrating. I have mainly dealt with their printing lab, and on average one out of every two orders has had to be reprinted due to poor quality. In the three months I've been dealing with them, they have never once offered a discount for my trouble and have even declined providing one. I am now looking for a new lab, and would not even purchase a camera or equipment from them based on the poor customer service I've experienced. I therefore would never recommend them. more

Great store 5/20/2006

Crick Camera Shop is located in a convenient strip mall on State Line in Kansas City, Missouri. They can convert your slides to a CD or DVD. The can do passport pictures while you wait. The staff are very friendly and are knowledgeable in regard to cameras. You can also get reprints and enlargements of pictures without the negatives and your get them in minutes. more
