I absolutely LOVE Crackel Barrel. I'm very fond of country cooking being that I grew up in the south. Crackel Barrel has amazing dumplins that are comparable to the homemade ones that my mom makes. Their vegetables are great and don't taste like they were dumped out of a can! And, you can't miss out on their AUTHENTIC sweet tea, no instant here, and it's served all the way from Florida to Virginia! The country store is great for browsing while you wait and also offes great gift ideas. more

Excellent on road trips 4/17/2006

Every time I go on a road trip, I have to stop at cracker barrel. They are always right on the highway and very convenient. I love the little county store, they have some very unique things you can't find elsewhere. The food is delicious too. My favorite, whether it be breakfast lunch or dinner, I have to get hashbrown casserole. Soo good. more

Good, Southern Cooking 4/10/2006

Cracker Barrel is the place to go if you want some good southern style cooking. I love their country fried steak. They also have some of the best breakfast food around. While you wait, or after your meal, be sure to look around in their country store. They have great smelling candles and lotions, and great gift ideas as well. more
