Cotters

Cotters is by far may favorite lunch spot in town! It's patio in the warmer months puts you right on the Avenue and you can people watch for hours. Their food is a step above the rest. My favorite is the Tuna Salad - they meld together fresh tuna with veggies and just the right amount of spice for a fabulous lunch (or dinner). My second favorite is their Fish Tacos - before or after a game, they are perfect and always good. The servers there are outstanding. I have never had to ask for more water or a refill. Since it is within walking distance of pretty much anything you want to do for a night out, it is a great spot to grab a bite or just a drink with friends! Pros: Never had a bad meal there Cons: I can never decide what I want to eat more

Cotter's is the prime dining spot in the Arena District. It is located in the heart of the entertainment district and provides a great alternative to your run-of-the-mill dining experience. The food in a word is incredible. The service is unparalleled and I go there with every given opportunity. It is right across the street from the amazing Arena Grand Movie Theatre, they are on the side of Nationwide Arena, and only short stroll from Huntington Park and other attractions. If you haven't been there you are missing out! Pros: Location, great food, fantastic service, warm atmosphere Cons: It's too cold to sit on patio in the winter more

I love the patio at Cotters, it's a great place to sit and sip martinis before heading to a Clipper's game or a concert at the LC. more

The first time we tried to go to Cotter's we weren't able to get in because the Blue Jackets were playing next door, but we decided to give it another shot on an off night and we're glad we did! Pros: Great food and wine knowledge Cons: Busy on Blue Jackets Nights more

Cotters Calamari rocked my work. I usually pass on the squid but my boyfriend insisted that I try it. Wow what have I been missing I was hooked...unfortunately no one else in the city does it that good :( We have been going to cotters for date night now every couple of weeks just so I can get the Calamari!! Hans at the bar usually waits on us and he is a gem. So sweet and can mix a mean drink. Love those Dirty Bloody Mary?s! I live in downtown Columbus, so Cotters is right in my backyard. I dine there often because I know that I will always have a fresh, delicious meal, but I won't break the bank. The chef specials are consistently fabulous! I often order take-out on my way home from the office, and the meals are just as good at home as they are at the restaurant! I love the loft-style, yet intimate feel of the space. Service is always superb. Definitely the best restaurant in the Arena District! My friends and I tried Cotters after a movie at the Arena Grand Theater. A concert at the Arena had just let out, but we were seated pretty quickly and a round of drinks came over within just a few minutes. The drinks were delicious, and the selection rivals any other bar in town. The menu is eclectic with everything from salmon to burgers, and the food was served promptly and was nice and hot when served. All and all a great night! I'm definitely planning to come back! Imagine going to a restaurant and after an hour and twenty minutes the only food that had made it to your table was the requiste basket of bread( which by the way was so so as best) . Despite numerous requests on our order's staus all we got were half truths that just prolonged the agony. We ended up leaving after being told the last time our order was now half way done. I was not sure if that meant the cook had just gotten back from the grocery or what. Cotters is no doubt a great place to go if you are on a serious diet, otherwise stay far, far away.
