This was my dental office for a couple of years. Eventually I was certain I could pretty much throw a rock and find a better dentist. And subsequently did.
Have you heard of pain-free dentistry? If you haven't, you'll have a lot in common with these guys. Also, something very shady about their business practices. The importance of the bottom line is palpable in the air there. Once in the middle of being drilled, my dentist was called into hall by other dentist so they could talk about billing for a cool ten minutes. Dentist came back in, started drilling again, and I screamed as it hurt like hell as anasthetic had worn off during their impromptu business meeting. Sort of a metaphor for the whole place. They're in it for the money, and you can go to hell.
Dentist had a lousy chairside manner, nervous, uninformative, the news never seemed to be good. He didn't seem like a bad guy, just kind of ill suited to working with people. Not a great trait for, you know, someone who works with people.
Oh, and office is in a barely converted apartment building. The ""transformation"" must have taken two hours. I was mildly surprised there wasn't a bathtub in the room. Once I went and the chair broke, which surprised no one. That kind of vibe.
Pros: Why does one star=Eh?
Cons: Shady, creepy, unpleasant
