It is extremely difficult and stressful to ask people all day to come in to an office, which is at time chaotic, to give their opinions. The reason you should is not because of the money you will receive, but because you can make a difference on the way advertisers market their products to you. At the very least at least be courteous to the people that are NOT GETTING PAID BY THE SURVEY!!! Those "Survey People", or in an words, "The Cow paddies of the mall" are only able to work about 35 hours at most a week making barely minimum wage. There are no opportunities for upward growth so many will only be there for at most-6 months. We are the vehicles; the slaves of the research companies , they are the ones that make the big bucks--yet they are rarely pleased with the job we do!!! So If you want dedicated, excellent employees' the mall interviewers-employed for at least a year- is a good place to start. THANKS Current Employee more

I used to be one of those annoying survey people... i admit it, yes, I am ashamed... but, market research is important, they won't take up that much of your time, and yes, they will pay you!! I have done some really fun surveys, some that take an hour or so will pay 100$s, some that take 2 minutes will pay 5$; sometimes they don't pay anything, but they'll give you a free product to try. Every now and then, there are focus groups that can pay more than 100$, and will have a dinner thrown in with them, anyway. Be nice to the clipboard girls, they're just doing their job, and stop in when you're at the mall and ask them if they have anything you 'qualify' for. it'll be fun!! more

Unlike other places in the mall, this place doesn't try to sell you anything. In fact, they give you free things, let you try new products, and then they even pay you for doing it! I am never annoyed by the clipboard-wielding staffers who hang around the food court. Sometimes I'll even seek them out! You can participate in a study once every three months. Sometimes you participate in the mall, and sometimes you get free things to take home with you and try out. more
