My daughter highly recommended Consumer Electric to me, and they came and gave me immediate service because it was kind of an emergency. They returned the next morning with the parts and they were so efficient and considerate. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I was very impressed that they did the job very economically. I figured with my approximate $4,000 bill that I saved at least $4,000 or more. They were very practical and extremely efficient. I have very old rental unit that had a problem with the switch box, and I did not have a electrician for ages. I was so impressed with the young Chris who came for the original visit. He replaced a couple of master switches and checked all the boxes and replaced some old wiring with copper. more

Glad I got them 9/24/2015

I am really happy with the work Consumer Electric Inc did for us. They installed two fans and repaired a kitchen light that had an off valance. I had called another company, but they didn't respond quickly enough so I found Consumer Electric in the address book. They responded right away and got the job. Their prices were alright and they provided excellent service. They showed up on time, were prompt, answered my questions, and cleaned up well when they're were done. I would recommend them for any job. more

Always a great experience. 9/4/2015

We have been a customer of Consumer Electric Inc for about seven years, and wouldn't use anyone else. Their customer service is excellent. I'm not an electrician, but as far as I can tell, their electrical work has been really good. Their technicians are courteous and always do good work. They were here on Tuesday for about 7 hours. Our kitchen wasn't built for modern appliances, so they installed a dedicated line. During the service, the technician discovered that the old receptacle for the box had been incorrectly installed, and it was poking a hole into the electrical line. The box blew out during the installation of the new line. It could have been a major problem if he hadn't found it. The technician informed us and explained everything. I personally I like that kind of thing. At this point, CE has pretty much rewired our entire kitchen. They always do a great job, and I would recommend their service. more

Great Experience. 8/21/2015

I had a great experience with Consumer Electric Inc. They installed a new electrical box on the outside of a residential home. They arrived at the site, knew what had to be done, and got to work. I was able to return to my home while they performed the service. When I got back, they explained everything that had been done, which was satisfactory to me. I would recommend their service. more

Top-notch, good people to work with. 7/27/2015

We had a hassle with the county inspector and they Consumer Electric took care of it. They hooked us up to our generator three years ago. We had some more gas line work done recently. They followed up on the work. They are on time, professional, thorough, and courteous. They kept us informed every step of the way, and it took a little while to get taken care of because there was a lot to be done. Beth was very helpful. She took care of most of it. I highly recommend them. more

Fast to respond when there is a problem. Will secure problem (if on over time) then come back on regular hours. Roger and his partner were very thorough. Explain what they were doing and why. Very much customer oriented. Would recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done. We were extremely satisfied with their performance, and rested a sigh of relief when they were done. They also warrant their work, and give a senor discount. more

Very good service! 7/13/2015

The technician from Consumer Electric Inc. did very well! He diagnosed the problem right-on. Unfortunately, it ended up being an issue with PG&E, so they had to come out to fix it. However, the Consumer Electric Inc. technician got it exactly right. more

The guy who came from Consumer Electric Inc was great. The person who came out had been doing this for years, he took his time, and he explained things well. He did an excellent job about solving the problem on time and promptly. They were willing to help us when nobody else could. He was very helpful and explained things as he did his work. more

Technician was knowledgeable and informative. Discussed risks and problems in advance of work to be performed, and adhered to cost and timeline of completion. Courteous and kind. Only drawback is cost, but they were very fair in final billing and did not try to take advantage. more

Have used Consumer Electric for a few years for a variety of residential issues. Beth, the woman who sets-up appointments, is always polite and helpful. And always quick to answer any questions. And it's always easy to set-up an appointment. Roger, the technician, arrived exactly at the appointment time. He was very professional and answered all my questions. Very easy to talk to. Roger fixed a wiring issue I had with a heating appliance, got it working again quickly. Highly recommend Consumer Electric. Easy to make appointment. On time. Professional. Job well done. more

Consumer Electric Inc 's service was very good. They helped put in a brand new electrical meter outside and a circuit breaker. I was satisfied with the outcome. This was my first using them and I would continue to use them. They are very trustworthy and reliable. more

Good advice, execution and clean-up. 5/28/2015

The tech who initially came out provided good advice on how we could add better light to a second bedroom and how to remedy a problem with a fan/heater in our second bathroom. The work team that came the same day were efficient, executed the plan as we expected and did a nice job cleaning up. more

No surprises with Consumer Electric. 5/28/2015

I called Consumer Electric about an issue after hours. I had to get the power going on a resident's house, and the crew did everything they could to get it working. Most electricians do what they can and take their time. Consumer Electric was real prompt, and made sure they got the job done. Even though they were prompt they made sure they did the job right. Before they did anything they would check-in with me and give estimates on cost and time, which were pretty accurate. They were very helpful, and very thorough. more

Excellent! 5/15/2015

I used Consumer Electric several years ago, but once you do good work for me it is likely I'll call you back! I had had some work done by another electrician and I wasn't satisfied so I called Consumer Electric. They were on time, they figured out the problem and went right to work. The price was also exactly what they quoted. more
