Hoorible boat Crooks!!! 4/27/2010

These crooks took me for a fool and tried to sell me a boat that was worth much less than advertised. They told me my motor was a 2000 motor and it was actually a 1991 motor. Now, I didn't know much about these motors or boats and trailers until after I bought the boat, but I know plenty now!! The diferrences in value is $1900 and they tell me that they can't help me out. This fraud is equivalent to fraudulently listing a car's odometer miles or giving the wrong VIN. This is straight up fraud!! Also, they charge $100 for a ""river test"" to have a mechanic take you out on the river with the boat. Seems like a good way to prove the boat works and put your mind at ease, right? Wll, it's not! This is a scam as well and is NOT worth your money. The mechanic took us out and had no idea that two spark plug wires were missing, even though he looked directly at them. Also, he had no idea that the motor had the wrong prop on it. I am not talking about the prop having the wrong pitch, I mean the prop they sold me is a right handed prop and the motor takes a LEFT HANDED PROP!!! That is another $100 they screwed me out of. Lastly, the mechanic told me that the trailer was fine for that boat, but I have since asked two other marine mechanics here in Gainesville, and they both agree that this trailer is not only too short, but it is only a one axle trailer and this boat needs two axles! I'm telling you folks, these guys are just out to screw you, and if you ever bought a boat from this place, you need to check your serial numbers and find out if you got screwed too!! Pros: hmmmm.....not any I can think of...... Cons: Fraud and outright lying more
