Praise God! 8/20/2010

I love this church. I've been coming with my husband since March, and have loved every second of it. This is a very large church, "stadium" seating, 3 large screens to display movies, video clips, lyrics to songs. A typical sunday starts off with the worship band (who is amazing!) playing four songs, everyone stands and sings along. Then the morning prayer, message, often times another song will be sung by a soloist. After the service (which lasts from about 10AM-11:30AM/12:00PM) coffee and donuts are offered. Everyone is very friendly, very open, and sweet. This is a non-denominational church, so it's not Catholic, Baptist, etc. Regardless of what you were raised, this is just a place to come worship God, hear his word, and grow as a christian. There are also services served throughout the week, like youth groups, adult bible study, etc. The other reviewer stated something about if communion was served, and it is served on the first Sunday of the month. Give CCC a try! I know you'll love it! more

Where's the Cross 9/18/2006

Auditorium seating, praise band on stage (altar), huge space in the center for projecting songs, the cross? I wish there was much more emphasis on the cross as the main focus was on the praise band. The band played for 20-30 minutes, as if it were a concert. I prefer a variety of ways of worship and all I saw was a performance. However, I'm sure the Spirit filled a lot of people. After the "concert" they did a long feild of announcements which interupted the flow. It was like an intermission from God. Then a guest speaker was introduced who we did get the message sent out having to do with Esther. There was no Bible Study and informed that they didn't have the facility of doing that. Which was interesting due to it being a huge building. But there was small groups outside. Not sure about communion. We will be going back for a Christian Comedian event. Friendly people and seemed involved. more
