Great Sports Bar with Awesome Food 7/23/2009

Great experience. Food is much better than any other sports bar I have been to. The set up is perfect for watching all sports with large flat screens in every direction. The service was fast and the bar was clean. Nice to go to a sports bar that wasn't smokey and disgusting. Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Service, Price, TVs more

Fish tacos are heaven 7/22/2009

Two words: fish tacos. I checked out Coldbrews after reading reviews on Citysearch. Food is as good as everyone says, especially the fish tacos. Also there are pool tables (don't know why other poster said there weren't). Cool atmosphere here for a sportsbar. I'm gonna check out trivia night when I get a chance. I found my new Roswell hangout spot Pros: Food, atmosphere, waitresses ;) Cons: need more seafood on menu more

Trivia night rocks! 7/22/2009

I have been hearing about this place from a friend of mine and decided to give it a try tonight. Little did we know we were going in to trivia night! Yay!!!! We had a blast!! I had the fish burrito (delicious) and my hubby had diablo burger which he loved!! Trivia was fun even though we lost! Afterwards we shot pool and had a few drinks. They told me they do trivia on Thursdays too but it's sports trivia so I think I'll pass(not a big sports fan), but I'll definately be back for trivia next Tuesday! more

Amazing 7/21/2009

The atmosphere at Coldbrews is great. I go there often with my friends, their food choices are amazing, I love their chicken wings, fish tacos, and santa fe tacos. They also have plasma TVs throughout which is great for watching sports, while enjoying a meal and drinking some beer. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who is in a mood for a great time. I will definitely be returning!!\r more

Good Food and Great Atmosphere 7/21/2009

Coldbrews is a very chill environment with a nice selection of beers. They have numerous tvs throughout which show various sporting events. I found the food very good for a sports bar and the perfect compliment to a cold beer. I have been to coldbrews a handful of times and have had a great experience with the staff. The staff is almost always smiling and constantly following up to see if I would like another. Overall a very positive environment and I recommend it to my friends and family. Pros: beer selection and atmosphere more

Corn dogs and ice cold beer!! 7/20/2009

Thank you for the heads up on the misspell Nathon74 it has been corrected. And yes we do have mini corn dogs as well as cheese stuffed tater tots, beer battered onion rings, egg rolls, fried garlic mushrooms, and a few other popular 'pub grub' items that go great with an ice cold beer. These mini corn dogs were originally on our 'Children’s Menu' and became so popular from the parents ordering them for themselves we had to offer them as a regular menu item. We had a juke box for a very short time that allowed our guests to play whichever genre of music they desired. Only at this time would it have been possible for Busta Rhymes to be rapping at Coldbrew’s. We have a strict music policy, and our staff knows not to change satellite channels. The juke box has been gone for some time. We are simply trying to provide a neighborhood place for people to come for cold beers and a bite to eat while watching some ball. If anyone has a concern call me at Coldbrew’s and I we will make it right. We aim to please and feel that these reviews are a bit much for a regular guest to say such devastating things. Nice place, great Food 7/13/2009

Just ate at coldbrews with a couple of friends. The place was very nice and clean which isn't surprising since it only been open a couple of months. What did surprise me was the food. It was very good. We started with an order of wings (hot). They were good but wings are easy. We also got the sante fe egg rolls which were very tasty. For my meal i got the hickory chicken sandwich. It was a chicken sandwich with bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce. It was really good. For my side I substituted the fries with the cheesy corn grits. I love a good bowl of grits an these did not disappoint. One of my friends got the quesadilla and the other got a cheeseburger. I didn't taste them but they looked pretty good. It was a great meal and I'll definitely be back. Service was pretty good also. Another cool thing about coldbrews is the nintendo wii they have. It was free and alot of fun. The only downside was I was too full to really enjoy it :). Next time I'll try to pace myself instead of pigging out. LOL more

Great wings 7/10/2009

I am glad somebody responded to the comment about offensive music. A) I don't remember music playing either time i've been to Cold Brews. B) I thought people stopped complaining about rap music in the early 1990's. I am glad this individual will not be returning so I do not have to sit next to them at the bar. On to the review...I think the strongest feature of Cold Brews is the food. Really good food for a sports bar. Both times I've been I got the sante fe egg rolls which are great. A buddy ordered the pizza appetizer which looked good, though I did not try. For main course, I went with the chicken wrap the first visit - it was good but nothing to write home about. Next time I got the wings. Wow - suprisingly delicious. I like to think of myself as a wing connoisseur and can be critical. I actually talked to the manager - he said they make wing sauces in-house which is unusual since most places buy bbq sauces. If you care about wings like I do then making in-house is a big deal. No complaints on the beer. Good prices. They had hoegaarden for my girlfriend and yuengling for me so we were happy. Others mentioned lack of a big screen. There are tons of flat screens but it would be nice to have a projection screen for big games. Also there is no pool table. I like to shoot pool after a few drinks so it would be nice to have this. Overall, I recommend Cold Brews. Give the wings a try if nothing else. Pros: Food quality, wings, lots of TV's Cons: No pool table more

Avoid this place???? 6/23/2009

I typically don't waste my time writing reviews whether good or bad. But, after a feeble attempt to find the address to this bar I read a review from a obviously goaded individual, and it concerned me. The headline reading ""Avoid this place"" is what caught my eye. We work in the area and got tired of Olive Garden, and Brookwood grill. So when the office heard Coldbrews was opening we got excited. Service has always been great with the exception of having to ask on occasion to get another drink refill or napkin. As far playing explicit music, we have not been subjected to that or rest assured this review would be heading another direction. The food is awesome, and reasonably priced. And we all love to come for lunch and after work to drink. I'm pretty sure the ""buffet"" this person is referring to is the one we eat off of at lunch time. If so I could only imagine what someone would say to me if I moved it out of the way to plug in my laptop! Who does that anyway?? In closing..We love our new spot and cant wait till football season gets here!! Just hope they get a big screen by then. Pros: Cheapest drinks around and food priced realistically! Cons: No big screen T.V? more

Cold beer, Tons of plasmas, MLB package and great food. Can't wait for football season!! I know where I'll be on saturdays....GO DAWGS!!\r \r Oh yeah this place draws a hot crowd, at least it did when I was there last Thursday for sports trivia. Delicious Food 6/9/2009

I've been to coldbrews twice already (both times for trivia on Tuesdays) and both times the food has been excellent. Based on my two trips I can say that the menu goes above and beyond the traditional sports bar quality and flavor. The first trip I ordered the wings. I am usually more adventurous, but they have a weekly special (buy 10 wings get 10 wings free) so I had to take advantage of it. They were great!!! The second trip I ordered the ribs. I was truly shocked at how delicious they were. I would compare them to the ribs at houston's. The only thing that was better than the ribs was the price. It was about 12 bucks with 2 sides. I've paid twice as much at other places for ribs that dont even compare to the flavor of coldbrews. I will definitely be back! Pros: Great food, low prices, lots of beer, hot waitresses. Cons: Been there twice so far and cant think of anything! more
