Great Food & Awesome Service 9/9/2004

I'm glad I went here for my first real authentic New Orleans meal. Not too bad of a Hurricane drink, but the jambalaya was very tasteful. It was a large portioned meal for early evening. Definitely recommend for a moderate priced meal, and excellent service. Pros: Food, Atmosphere more

Had a late breakfast here in December. It was wonderful! The food and the service! We will be back in March and I am already planning breakfast here. There is an old south charm about the facility. more

Skip the breakfast but have the Callas 7/30/2002

The worst breakfast we had all week. Eggs were running and bland. Food was very standard fare. However, the Callas were the best things in the world. Liked them better thant he beignets at Cafe Du Monde. Just have coffee and Callas and save some dough. Their dinner entres may be better but their breakfast needs vast improvement. Better than Breakfast at Brennan's 6/27/2002

Talk about New Orlean's best breakfast, lunch and dinner value. The quality of the food is as good as you'll get anywhere in New Orleans. And the prices, better than the diner across the street for some things, just a bit higher on most. The creole pancakes are amazing. And for dinner! Wow! Compares favorably to Bayona and the Palace Cafe in terms of deliciousness. Unfortunately, the service often leaves much to be desired. Don't come here if you're in a hurry.
