Clean, comfortable hotel right in center of Long Beach 1/1/2012

The room was recently updated and very well kept up. The atmosphere was quiet and very enjoyable for me and my wife during the weekend. The beach and restaurants are easily walked to, and the staff was very friendly. more

New and Engaging 10/19/2011

We have been to Long Beach many times and while the town has grown from what we first remember, it remains our favorite retreat. Our regular motel was booked. We called around to a half dozen hotels and decided we would just drive down and see how lucky we might be. The visitors center recommended a new place in town and upon checking in, we were very impressed by the couples knowledge of the area, things going on and of course, the latest news. The room was very nice. Large tv with a little dvd player. Hardwood floors and fluffy pillows. While we are partial to our usual motel, we highly recommend the coastal inn and will be back more

Just Down the Street From Our New Fav. Restaurant 7/10/2011

The Coastal Inn is a beautiful place and the people were wonderful. We had stayed there when it was the Wales Tale and could not believe all the improvements. We will come back, we will tell our friends, and we will be there for Kite Festival. Thank you for a wonderful stay and recommendation to the Hungry Harbor Grill last night. more

Brand New 7/2/2011

A very nice place. We've been going to Long Beach for years and love the town. Last night we decided to run out to the beach with no reservations and could not find anything open. The Coastal Inn is having a grand opening and we were lucky enough to be a part of it. Good luck you guys, we loved our stay and will call ahead next time. more

The best place in Long Beach 5/25/2009

3/4 of this motel is fully remodeled, and the remaining 1/4 is in the process now. Each room is a little different and has it's own feel with great accents. These rooms definitely have a comfortable feel to them and are by far the nicest public rooms in town. Pros: Pets Allowed, Hardwood Floors, Newly Remodeled more
