I appreciate the time everyone takes with me to make sure my visit is smooth and personal. The staff covers what my concerns are that brought me to the practice, and my medical history to prepare for my face to face with Dr. Coan. I appreciate the time Dr. Coan takes to explain what is happening with my eye health, he never makes me feel like he's hurrying my visit. At the end of my appointment I completely understand what is going on with my eye sight and how we are going to correct the problem. I appreciate the samples and the coupons that Dr. Coan provides, it has been especially helpful this year as I am unemployed. When I called for an appointment today I was very pleased at how quick I received treatment. Thanks for the reminder emails and phone calls when I make an appointment, I write them down but your follow-up helps me keep my appointment. more

Train your people first, then let them work with clients. 10/14/2011

My Clincian apparently wasn't sufficiently trained. "Advice" from a trainer at every turn. New equipment is fine but train them on your "dime" not mine. Still, I'll be back. one other thing,almost too many people "dashing" around. Got to be a bother after a while also a couple of time "lags" with me just sitting alone? more

Eye Exam Excellent, Choice of Frames & Lenses Not good 10/10/2011

I have AARP Medicare Complete instead of the BluCross Blue Shield I used to have. Granted, it has been 5-6 years since I bought glasses from you but I paid $80 for progeressive lenses and glasses with no frame under the eye. I get headaches when I wear glasses with a frame below. The selection on the Medicare rack was hideous and the progressive lenses were way too expensive. Before I only paid for the lenses and the frames were free but the rack had a wonderful selection. I bought beautiful no rim frames with stainless steel braided sides that I absolutely love at Sam's for the price of just the lenses at your store and I will recieve them in 3-4 days. I have an optemologist tracking my cataracs and will just get future exams from them. I do not plan to come to Coan in the future. Again, the exam was excellent but the price of lenses has doubled since I was there last. My income has been cut to 1/3 as many other people in America. Your prices are unrealistic in this day and age. more

I had such a wonderful appointment, this was my first visit was recommend by a coworker and patient. They were on time and very courteous and professional. I was out of my appointment in a hour.. I would recommend them to anyone.. more

Eye Exam and glasses consultation 10/4/2011

The eye exam was thorough and very friendly staff and doctors. I thought I would get a prescription for my glasses but was only provided a quote on glasses (very expensive glasses). How can I get a prescription for my eyeware? I am a member of Costco and can purchase similar lenses and frames at much less than quoted. more
