A Waste of Tine 8/8/2006

Last week, while at Prime Outlets, I was looking for a polo shirt in a size 2x or 3x. I saw the Casual male Big and Tall Outlet, hoping that I could find some polos at a good price. Well, they did have polos in my size. However, they were overpriced by outlet standards, at more than $20 and only a couple of dollars less than in their regular stores. So, it wasn't worth my time to go there. I won't be going back. more

not worth the trip 8/8/2006

Last weekend, I wnet to the Pleasant Prairie, WI outlet mall with my wife and sister-in-law to buy some undies and see if anyting else struck my fancy. The Coach store had just opoened, so that is where we went first. There was lots of traffic, reflecting a new store with a hot name. It wasn't very good. The selection was pretty meager - some handbags, a few belts, some organizers, a couple hars. Not a lot of breadth, especially for me. The outlet prices were 20% under retail list. So, this store is most decidedly not worth a visit. more
