They don't know dog breeds very well. They cut everything like a poodle. Took my terrier there once and she came out looking like a poodle with bangs... never went back. more

We've been bringing our dog, Murphy, to Clippet for a year and a half, ever since we've had him. We rescued him from a shelter in Indiana. When I went to get him, I discovered that he had never been groomed OR bathed! He looked horrible and he smelled even worse! He was a diamond in the ""Ruff!,"" though. The first day that I had him home, I called Clippet to see when was the soonest that I could bring him in. Under the circumstances, she agreed that I could bring him in that same day and she would try to squeeze him in. She did indeed squeeze him in, but it truly looked as if she had spent all day on him alone! He looked like a showdog when she was done with him. I don't know who was more excited, Murphy or me! Ever since then, we've been taking Murphy to Clippet, and every time he comes back to us looking great! In fact, Murphy has an appointment next week and I can't wait to see how he looks with a fresh haircut again! I highly recommend Clippet Pet Salon! I have a 1 year pomeranian who has been to Clippet 3 times since Ive gotten him when he was 8 months old. Tracy is great with him. As soon as I walked in the door for the first time she made me feel more than comfortable leaving Rusty with her all day. She was very friendly and told me what she recommended and what she didnt recommend. The first time I took Rusty I just wanted him trimmed and cleaned up. Thats exactly what she did. The second time I wanted him shaved. She knew I was a little nervous with this decision but she assured me I would love it and that he would be adorabe:) She was absolutly right. I LOVED IT AND SO DID HE! He is with her right now getting shaved again and I just can't wait to see him. Tracy is just wonderfu at what she does. more

SHE HAS EVEN GROOMED MY SHOW DOGS AND DOES A AWESOME JOB. SHE HAS EVEN PUT BOWS IN THE EARS, POLISHED NAILS AND EVEN DIPPED FOR FLEAS WITHOUT BEING ASKED NOT TO MENTION, TOP QUALITY CARE FOR MY DOG WHILE BEING GROOMED. I have a beautiful Shih Tzu with a long coat. The first time I took him to this pet salon I asked her to clean up around his eyes and nose. I wanted him to stay with long hair and to have a top knot. She cut his top knot off and clipped his feet. I wasn't very happy but I figured that if I came back I would specify exactly what I want done. The last time I took him, I told her to clean up his face and his feet. I told her she could take a little off his coat. She told me that she could leave it about an 1"" 1/2 long. She shaved off all his hair on his face, cut off his top knot, and cut his coat, leaving it about 1/2"" long.The lady doesn't listen to what her customers want. more
