I read all the great reviews about this place and this process, so after having endured waxing for some time I was so excited to try it out. I have no complaints about the process, but I found Cynthia to be completely inappropriate for the work place. I went in for a brazilian and she made very unprofessional comments about my appearance of the area she was working on and kept talking about all the male clients that she did this to (how she powdered them for 45-minutes before starting to work)! Further, she kept encouraging me to try to get my husband to come back and let her work on him (not in a million years!) I'm disappointed in the service I received because I really did like the technique. more

I went here for a brazilian a few weeks ago. Body sugaring was definitely less painful than wax. Instead of your skin being ripped like with wax, I only felt the pain of the hair being pulled out. The address listed on here is wrong, because they are located at 14008 D Memorial & Kirkwood; Houston, Texas 77079. \r \r Ati is very nice and she was talking so much that I was distracted and laughing the whole time. I didn't have time to feel embarrassed or notice the pain. I did take some Aleve earlier in the day, but I'm not sure if it made any difference or not. I was recommended by a friend to try this place because I had a bad waxing experience. She told me that sugaring doesn't hurt near as bad AND it won't leave you sticky because its water soluble. She wasn't kidding! For one, its much faster than waxing, it doesn't hurt near as bad and they are very meticulous about removing the hair. They even have YOU check to make sure they aren't missing anything. This place wants you to leave super satisfied! Both Ati and Cynthia are wonderful. They will have you laughing so much you won't even realize that they are already finished! Try sugar and you will NEVER wax again! Pros: EVERYTHING! more

This is the best place for a brazilian wax in Houston! Don't be freaked out about it either if you've never had one...it will change your life if you get one from here. Ask for Cynthia or Ati and they will take care of you. I personally use Cynthia and all I have to say about her is that she is absolutely amazing and does such a great job. \r Everyone in there is extremely nice and welcoming.\r They don't use wax, they use sugar so it's better for your skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and had the hardest time finding a place that used wax that wouldn't destroy it. The sugaring doesn't hurt nearly as bad as wax too...it's so weird! I highly recommend this place...it's by far the best in Houston. I just moved too so I don't know what I'm gonna do without this place! Sugaring is the BEST! I have tried just about everything, and Cleopatra's Secrets has the best hair removal sugar product. Besides, the staff couldn't be nicer, starting with Ati, the owner, who is always quick to offer a hug, a smile and just honest, good business the old fashioned way. When you walked walk in the door, you immediately feel welcome and cared for. I moved away from Houston, but I continue to buy the sugar via online. The massages by Anna are pretty wonderful too! Everyone at Cleo's Secret is wonderful. They are not the usual stuffy upscale salon. They offer the only body sugaring in Houston and it is less painful than waxing. I will never wax again!
