We had heard about Clarksville Station and decided to go there after the UNC vs Miami game. We went with our dentist and his friend that we went to the game with. The service and food was excellent. Our waitress gave us the utmost attention and made suggestions that proved out right. Mr Adler, the owner, came to our table and recommended the prime rib which I had. It was almost melt in your mouth good. Never had better. The only problem was we were served such a large portion that I barely had room for Mr Adler's own personally cooked desserts. They were fantastic. I shall return again with other friends to enjoy the food and ambience of a train and depot station. more

I took my Mother to Clarksville Station on Mother's Day. It was her choice because she had been there years ago and liked it. What a disappointment! The service was very slow, the waitress was MIA and the food was mediocre. Half of my baked potato was brown, as one example. The salad was ok, the free dessert was good. We were there about two hours! Needless to say, We will not be going back. more

My husband and I recently relocated to North Carolina. This restaurant came recommended. We called in an order to be picked up. I ordered the ""Catch of the Day"", Tuna. It was supposed to grilled with lemon and butter. It was completely tasteless and so overcooked that it was inedible. My husband ordered the shrimp and scallops Norfolk. They were overcooked and rubbery. I called to speak to a manager, and one was not available. The young woman who answered the telephone told me that someone else ordered the tuna and did not complain. Yes. She actually said that to me. I explained that perhaps their tuna was not cooked until dry and tasteless. She also said, (get this...) they were known for their steaks. As if that would suddenly make my over-priced, inedible meal better. IT DIDN'T!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. THE FOOD IS BAD AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORSE! I enjoyed a weekday lunch at Clarksville Station on a recent vacation day. I ordered a grilled cheese and a side salad, and my boyfriend ordered another kind of sandwich and the salad bar.
