Clandestine Chef Cooking School

We hired the Clandestine Chefs for a birthday dinner party for my father in-law. While the food tasted good - the experience was not what we expected nor what we wanted for the amount of money we paid. Tom and Shari walked in wearing shorts and casual shirts like they were going on vacation. We at least would expect more professionalism such as chefs' coat. They also brought along their apprentice without notifying us in advance who knew nothing about food and cared more to talk about his lack of education. Tom and Shari cared to talk more about themselves and their life story as opposed to the food and why they were there. While my Father in-law was entertained - my husband and I were very disappointed at the lack of professionalism. We would not recommend this experience to anyone interested in learning about food and having a professional come to your house. more

I attended the kick-off event and have spent a LOT of time on the website, and it?s COOL!!! I am psyched to use this for bridal showers, birthday, gatherings w/ out-of-towners - the list goes on!! Think about it... When you celebrate one of these things you would go out and spend at least this much for a nice dinner, and this way you get to learn stuff too! The price goes down per person the more people you have, and it goes down even further if there are people there who want to watch the game prior to dinner instead of participate in the cooking, or show up later just to eat (make them bring the wine :-)). And if the kick-off food samples are any indication, the food is truly stellar!
