Pizza is rarely considered as the single greatest achievement of mankind, but I believe this is only because of the out of the way, unremarkable exterior to City Pizza. Wedged between a video store and a chinese restaurant on Farmington Ave, in a difficult lot for parking, City Pizza is the best kept secret in Connecticut (although I'm sure they wish this wasn't the case). People think they have to go to New Haven for great pizza, but City Pizza trumps all the competition. Locals and students from both local high schools and Trinity College have long used City Pizza to lighten the burden of schoolwork and latenight study sessions. And why not? It is a pizza unlike any other, with a delicious mixture of cheeses and sauce that is both affordable and inspiring. City Pizza also sells grinders, but the pizza is too good me for to ever go in and waste an opportunity to get it. The employees are extremely friendly and are great at what they do. Hands down, City Pizza is the best pizza in Connecticut, America, and my life.
