A Useful Local Newspaper 2/15/2006

The City Paper is a great read for young locals who want the latest on Baltimore's music, theater, and arts scene. The paper is extremely liberal and is more useful for weekend happenings than for political news. The Best of Baltimore is a not-to-be-missed edition; these people know their food and entertainment, so take their word for it! You can find the papers almost anywhere, but I suggest checking out Charles Village businesses; there's almost always a stack nearby. more

Great paper to read in Baltimore 8/17/2005

If you are looking for what is going on in Baltimore City every week, this is the paper to pick up. The paper contains information about just every gathering from concerts to sidewalk sales all around the Baltimore. In addition they publish a once a year Best of Baltimore issue which is incredible and as one person already said is a must have. more

City Paper is THE place to get all the information you need about the city. The Best of Baltimore issue is a must have every year--it identifies the single greatest things in the city. The irreverent tone makes for a fun read, and it's chock full of important information for all the various happenings around town (movie times, festival dates and places, etc.). And the best part, it's FREE. more
