Cincinnati Sci FI

Hey , This place is closed now. It was a great place. They had great tournaments on Saturday morning. Parking was bad though only like 8 spots. It is a new store now and just as cool but same parking issues. This overseer guy obviousily never went to the store or new the guys who ran it. I never had a problem with David the owner or the other David who ran the Yugioh tournament. They had a lot of anime and star wars stuff too. I liked the selection of soda's and candy although not healthy it was better than driving ever try to take a left out of that parking lot. :( Anyway sorry to see it go but the new owner John is pretty cool too. more

It was always a fun place to hang out with good prices. If you treated the owners and clerks nicely then you were treated well. If you were rude then you were treated rude. I saw it. Cool place to hang out and play games with no pressure to buy anything. This Oversear guy from what I hear is a guy in New Jersey who never even went to the store and likes to set up hate sights. more

back in 2004 i won an item from cincinnatiscifi on ebay. i waited and waited but it never showed up. so after 2 weeks i emailed the seller and got no response. i then left negative feedback and wouldnt u know it i got a negative in return in less than 1 minute. the item came a few days later, but i was still mad at the unwarranted neg and getting ignored so i created a fake ebay account called cincinnatibiguy and bought all of the highest priced items in his store as a big eff you to him. i couldnt leave him all the negs for those items i tried to because i guess u had to be a registered user for 5 days and they closed the fake account before then, but it makes me smile knowing he probably got stuck with the final value fees for all those listings :) more

I don't know when they shut down.. but i'm an old fan.. I hung out there a few years ago and had a lot of fun... I knew the owner and a few people working there personally. and yes, the owner was a huge douche... but a long time ago, and in a galaxy that is apparently far far way, this was a really fun place to hang out. If you want to be abused by that nerd from school who thinks he is important now because he owns a shop then this is the place for you!! I think the owner could learn about a thing called manners, also several inventions you should be aware of 1.Laundromat, 2.Iron, 3.Soap, 4.Shower (or bath) 5.Toothbrush and toothpaste. I dont know what was worse his attitude or his breath!! Pros: They Close each day Cons: They ruin it by reopening more

My boys were both just getting into the various playing card games, and the two clerks were very helpful and nice with both my kids, helping them pick out an inexpensive starter kit to get them going. I get the impression that if you treat them professionally, they will do the same in return. The store is a total mess, but the clerks seem to know where everything is, and the selection is good.
