Worst

Worst Chinese buffet ever! Food was old and cold, all chicken dark meat, one beef dish, a total waste of time and money!!! Cons: STALE, COLD FOOD

Editorial review from Citysearch 6/22/2013

My family outing to the buffet took a NASTY turn! \r \r Initially the experience was good, the food tasted great, service was okay, quiet atmosphere. But then my husband bit into a piece of UNDER COOKED chicken, pink on the inside and blood to the bone. \r \r At the sight of this my husband called a waitress to the table, it was apparent she knew very little English and did not understand what was being said – she actually walked away mid conversation.\r \r Then my husband went to the counter to speak to another person. She came to the table saw the chicken, went to get another piece of chicken and proceeded to tell us how bigger pieces needed more time to cook and said here eat this small one it will be better. My husband (as he has worked in food service for many years and currently works at a Japanese restaurant) proceeded to explain the effects of salmonella poisoning and how raw chicken, if not cooked to a certain temperature could still carry this and a number of other bacteria. She started waving him off with an attitude saying “no no no no sick no sick you will not get sick eat that other one”. \r \r It was at this point I became worried and very perturbed by the actions of the restaurant. She repeatedly waved her hand in my husband’s face, voice escalating louder and louder, talking over him, and then another member of the establishment came over to the table to see the chicken. He started to talk and then she forcefully pulled him away – turned her back walking away muttering some inaudible things under her breath in another language. \r \r She came back after talking to the others, again waving her hand talking loudly and saying “okay okay you free you free” (pointing at and talking to my husband). My husband however was genuinely concerned asking what you are going to do about the other chicken that is still there. She went off waving her hands again and yelling. When she went away I was talking to my children and husband making sure he knew how displeased with her treatment of him I was. I suppose she over-heard me. She came back as we were gathering up to leave and pay the rest of the receipt. She took the ticket, said that it was free for everyone and told us never to come back. \r \r THAT’S SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! You serve RAW chicken, get angry because the customer expects something to be done about it, cuss in a foreign tongue, wave your finger and hand in the customer’s face, yell at them, then say here “we give you free” never come back! I don’t think we will, I would STRONGLY advise against anyone EVER going there. As I said before, everything was fine in the beginning, but if there is an issue THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE DIRT! It took us 3 times before we got a person to come to the table and pay attention and still those times they turned their backs and walked away. VERY DISRESPECTFUL! HORRIBLE SERVICE! RAW CHICKEN! If we had been treated with respect we would have come back again and again – we understand mistakes, but DISRESPECTFUL HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE is something that is INEXCUSABLE! more

Restaurant in Belton 10/14/2007

This was our second ""try"" in this restaurant. The first time we went, we saw an employee step on a six-legged thing and kick it under the buffet table. We swore we'd never go back again. We decided to give them a second chance since the only other two Chinese Restaurants (very clean and professional) in the area were closed. Again, terrible, terrible experience. A spider at least two inches including leg span walked under our table. My husband noticed the spider and calmly told my daughter, who is deathly afraid of spiders to get up slowly and walk away from the table. She knew exactly what was going on. My husband calmly went to male employee at the cash register to let him know we had a problem. The little girl that waited on us came over, started to take a napkin out to smoosh it and decided it was too big, she went and got a fly swatter and smashed it right next to our table. The man at the register, when my husband (who is a restaurant manager) told him we would like something off the bill, not just a free meal told him, ""I've never heard that excuse before. You were done eating anyway."" This restaurant is dirty. They obviously have creature problems and don't care if their customer's know. I've never left a restaurant with the feeling that I left this restaurant with Pros: Variety Cons: Bad Service, Creatures, Dirty more
