China Buffet

We had lunch here recently, and an all you can eat Chinese is a good choice after a full day of shopping. The food was enjoyable. The crawdads were not all that tasty, but the chicken was good, the all you can eat shrimp was fresh and cold, the boneless spare rib was very tasty, nice sauce, and there were a few other dishes that were hot and tasty. Even their sweet and sour soup was good. The service was very attentive, the restaurant was clean and we didn't have any problems with lunch. However, the bathroom left a lot to be desired. It was messy, showed signs of water overflow on the floors, and the papertowl dispenser was empty. It was a nice lunch but the bathroom could have been attended to better. Price points were good for the meal we enjoyed. more

When China Buffet first opened up the food was fresh, the prices were low, and the choices were many. Since then, unfortunately, things have changed for the worst. Many of my favorite dishes just don't taste the same. They also started charging extra for crab legs, which in my opinion, aren't that good anyway. It is one of the few all you can eat chinese places on the east side, but if you are looking for quality over quantity, I would suggest looking elsewhere. more

Ok, your probably thinking "Yuck!", another greasy and grose chinese buffet, right? This place does a fine job in delivering quality food for a price you just can not beat. Three bars serve all kinds of chinese delights for a price under $6 for lunch. Go nuts and eat your heart out and it will still be under $6 for lunch. In addition, get a rewards card and earn free lunches to boot. Be on the look out though, each reward card has a expiration date. They also have 2 ice cream options. Your standard custard variety and a more upper class ice cream mom and pop scoop it yourself station. If your in the mood for cheap good food for lunch and your really hungry, then this is your place. more
