I began going to Fox Ridge in February of 2011. I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years, so I was nervous that I was going to get lectured. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The hygienists are very knowledgable and have a lot of good, practical advice. I have seen Dr. Hoorfar several times and I really like her. I needed a lot of work done after a pregnancy (and my craving for Mike & Ikes) took its toll on my teeth, and she was very patient and careful during the procedures. The front desk staff went over my out-of-pocket obligations with me before each procedure so I knew what to expect financially. Not every experience has been perfect, but overall, I am very happy with this practice and have recommended it to many people. more

I visited the dentist for a routine cleaning. The dentist claimed I had a bad cavity, although I was having no tooth pain. I went back a month later, she gave me Novocaine, then made me wait a hour in the chair until she came back. When I told her I could still feel her poking my teeth, she didnt believe me and continued to start drilling. Not till I almost jumped out of the seat did she say ""ohh i guess you can feel it."" She gave me another shot, but didnt want for it to take affect. I was told everything was covered by my insurance. I decided never to go back and have found a new dentist. A year later I received a final notice payment from them saying I owe X amount of dollars in a week or they are sending my info to their collection agency. When I called asking why I never received any paper work other then this bill they had no explanation besides 'we sent you a bill in march'. Such a horrible practice I would never go back. Pros: Nice office decor Cons: Everything else more
