October 28, 2009 - Likes it - What makes a great restaurant great? Consistently good food and service. We've dine all over to try all the new places, but then ask ourselves why?? When we keep coming back to Chicago's, where you can count on good food and good service. We've been going to Chicago's since it opened and love it. The prime rib is my husband's favorite. I order everything from fish, scallops, pasta, steak, and it's always very good. Come see for yourself. Pros: Good food, drinks and service Cons: Can't get there enough more

Best In East Cobb 10/26/2009

We enjoy going to Chicago's East Cobb for it's casual and friendly atmosphere, consistent food, drink and friendly service. It also has an inviting and fun bar which offers a real casual dining experience with flat screen tv's or on Friday and Saturday, the enjoyment of entertainment. We recommend it to all our friends, and, definitely bring our family when they re in town. There's nowhere else like it. No wonder it's been in business for so long! Chicago's is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food is always excellent, the service is friendly and consistent, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. We bring family and friends to Chicago's and they always enjoy the combination of great food and great service. Now I'm getting hungry for Chicago's! Great Place 10/25/2009

My Wife and I along with many of our friends have been dining there for many years. Although there are many menu items that we both love a couple of our favorites are the salmon oscar and the filet mignon. They also have the best escargo appetizer in town. In addition it's nice to spend a little time after dinner in the Speakeasy Lounge to relax and enjoy some live music. There is a good reason this place has been in business for 22 years and still going strong. We love it! Pros: Consistently good Cons: I can't eat there every night more

Consistently great food 10/24/2009

We have been going to Chicago's for over 10 years and always find the food and service to be top notch. The staff treats you as if you were family, always striving to provide great service. The food is consistently good. Their house salad with house dressing, a combination honey mustard and hot bacon dressing, is always a great start to the meal. We've always enjoyed their specials, but my favorite item is their Filet with crabmeat and bernaise sauce. Pros: Service, food quality Cons: Long lines on special occasions (i.e. Valentines Day) more

Chcago's has a nice variety of Steaks, seafood, pasta & veal to mention just some of the menu. The food is always excellent and the staff is helpful, friendly and provides efficient service. They have a call ahead feature that allows for limited waiting. The atmosphere is warm and casual - a great neighborhood restaurant!! Pros: Early bird special /entire menu until 7pm more

Consistently Good Food 2/10/2003

Chicago's is not glamorous or especially romantic. Don't go there for ""fusion cuisine."" However, for basic food done very well at an excellent value, you can't go wrong. Steaks, veal, shrimp and fish are all excellent. The accompanying salad is fresh and cold, if not innovative. We love the small croissants! Service is friendly with no ""attitude"" that is common is ""finer dining."" My favorite neighborhood restaurant. Pros: value, great food, service Cons: smoking allowed more
