Excellent Food in a friendly atmosphere! 7/20/2005

I'm from New York and on a recent trip to Chicago, someone recommended this place to me. I'm usually skeptical when I see a place that offers several asian cuisines. This may be the one place that does all of them extremely well. I sampled a variety of foods, and delicious is an understatement. The egg rolls, the moo shoo pork, and the eel rolls were fresh and made to perfection! I would go back in an instant on my next trip! Pros: Food, Service, Value more

Very good Thai. As stated by others, large portions for the cost. My recommendation, an order of spring rolls. The table was a little dirty, but the food made me forget about it. GREAT service. The food is excellent, with a delightful mix of Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. A great way to sample all that Chi Tung has to offer is to try the lunch buffet, because there's a little bit from all of the menus available to enjoy. It's also a great value, because when we went there for lunch a couple of months ago, all four members of our party were able to eat well for $20.00, and that's a excellent bargain. Make sure to check out their lunch buffet!!! It changes every day - so get a menu/flyer - All you can eat - for $5.99!!!!!!! Only drawback is this place is usually jammed at lunch and dinner - Get there early!! more

not a high class chinese dining experience, but if you want affordable chinese entrees that taste like high class four star dining then thats chi tung in evergreen park.Ive always try to frequent chinese food joints no matter where ive lived or traveled. And out of close to 40 places around the midwest ive been to ;chi tung is second to none. thing is chi tung also has Thai and sushi thats better than their chinese! I love the Thai food and my family loves the Chinese food. This restaurant is great for eat at home or eat out. Prices are low enough for the family to eat out in a restaurant that has a fancy look with comfortable atmosphere.
