Food was okay. Service was TERRIBLE. They forgot part of my order, and when I called about it, the woman on the phone was arguing with me, telling me that I was wrong, the whole order was there. She kept cutting me off, interrupting me, and when she finally listened that I simply did not want to be charged, she hung up on me. more

I eat dim sum often in cities with a much larger Asian population than South Florida. I was a bit leery. What a nice surprise. The food was excellent. Service can be spotty but that is probably due to the lack of English speaking servers.Servers were friendly. Went on a Saturday around 1230 and they had a good turn out. The steamed shrimp rice crepe was fantastic. Had to have another order:) Very delicate and melt in your mouth. Had 7 plates from small to big and shared with husband. Two iced teas and the total bill was about $33. Will for sure return sometime soon. Cheers and Happy eats..... more

I have to change my previous review. Now the food and service is poor. Please don't come to Philip Ho. It was good couple months ago, but has been down hill ever since. Will not recommend. more

Absolutely fantastic lived in so. Florida for 20 years and finally had authentic Chinese food absolutely wonderful . Go at lunchtime because the dim sum menu is much more extensive. Also the Peking duck is wonderful more

I cannot describe with the right words how deliriously weird and delicious were the steamed egg custard lava buns. Hot and sweetened to perfection. I start thinking I need to stand up right now and see who is crafting them back in the kitchen (please can I just look at the chef?). more

Food is good but the service is extremely slow. The staff needs training in customer service. The first month or so they did not have air conditioning. How can this happen in South Florida?, I have no idea. However, they make it up by the food. Good dim sum and dinner is good also. more

Good if no alternative available. Limited selection. Several other area restaurants offer better quality and selection. Went to McDonalds after and saw others who were also at Philip Ho!! more

Today was my first visit to Chef Philip Ho Restaurant. I was very satisfied with the Dim Sum that I ordered. All of the items were fresh and very tasty. The men's restroom was very clean. I well come back again in the near future!!! more

I'm still sitting in the restaurant, just finished my dinner and I rushed to write this review for others to experience a restaurant with such amazing food and stupendous service!! I ate entrees and appetizers that I would have never even imagined of tasting, I let my server pick out my whole meal and I left with a great thought of this restaurant! more

I live in the neighborhood and never thought we would have this luck! What a great chinese restaurant! You have to try it, I have been waiting so long to find again the best flavors of this amazing food. They offer dim sum (there is one with scallops, mmmm) and tasty plates cooked and seasoned to perfection. \r Services is another great surprise. Maybe it is a coincidence that we finally deserve: great beach, great food! more

Disappointment 1/1/2005

Our family has been coming here for about ayear & it's getting progressively worse. The food is sloppier, the service is slower, the place just isn't as clean. When speaking to management about these things, I was disappointed to see that they really don't care. Too bad, because this used to be a great place to dine. What a big disappointment! Pros: good parking Cons: , messy more
