I used these guys and was completely appalled by the service I received. The two guys that were sent out were nice enough at the beginning, but that’s where my good experience ended. My friend and I were packing up smaller stuff while they started moving my furniture out (but not before complaining that they didn’t know beforehand that I was on the third floor – which I specified with the person I arranged this with in their office). About halfway through, they were taking my headboard out of my apartment and noticed there was a crack in it. One of them asked if I wanted them to take it apart, to which I replied, you do what you think is best, seeing as how I know nothing about furniture. He said, okay, we’ll just try to take it in one piece. Halfway down the first flight of stairs, the post broke off. Fine, accidents happen. I get it. But don’t be a Richard to me because YOU broke something. He asked me if my dad could bring a drill and longer screws to put it back together. Okay, I live by myself and my dad was out of town. Shouldn’t they have tools or something in the event of an emergency? I told them this, and the guy says, well, go buy some longer screws. Um, NO. I don’t think it should be my responsibility to fix what they could have prevented. The guy that was doing most of the talking to me went downstairs to have a cigarette, and tried to hide it by going around the other side of the moving truck. The other guy, well, he spent about 75% of the time trying to pick up on my friend, saying all sorts of inappropriate things, and even went as far as pulling her hair. When we got to my new place, one of the guys took my headboard in my room and slapped it back together with God knows what, while I watched the other guy move the rest of my furniture out of the truck to make sure nothing else was broken.\r

I had a verbal agreement with them that when they were attempting to fix my headboard they wouldn’t be running the time, because that was something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Initially I was told that they started the time at 3:55 pm. When it was time to sign their sheet and pay, the time had been changed to start at 3:30 pm, and I was being billed for 3 hours, which I find to be ridiculous. I don’t think I should be billed for cigarette breaks, and things could have gone a lot quicker and more efficiently if the other guy hadn’t been flirting with us the entire time. I told him this, and he basically turned around and yelled at me that I needed to sign the paper, and that they never agreed to stop the clock for anything. I’m a female, I live by myself, and I’m not gonna lie, I was a little intimidated, so I did as he asked, signed his paper and a check so they’d get the hell out of my apartment. I called their office and left a message for someone to call me back.\r

The following day, I called the office again around 10 am and spoke with a guy named Mark who essentially told me he was too busy to talk to me, call back later. What kind of service is that? I called back later and spoke with Mark again, who then explained that he had been the only one there all day and was really busy when I had called earlier. I expressed my concerns to him about the service I was provided, and how the fine print at the bottom of the contract should be amended to include that customers would be billed for cigarette breaks. He was patient with me and listened to all that I had to say, he told me he could do nothing for me as far as what I had been billed, as they were regulated by the TSA and could be fined if they gave any kind of discount.\r

Upon further inspection of my stuff, I’ve found that my TV stand is cracked, and the bottom of my dresser is an absolute wreck.\r

To say that I was unimpressed is a total understatement. I would refer this company to NOBODY… Unless it was someone I secretly despised.\r
Pros: absolutely NONE.
Cons: slow, sleazy, unwilling to make up for sucky service
