Not much to see here 7/31/2006

This church is gorgeous on the outside, but not a lot to see inside. It's built into the rocks and is so unique to look at. There is parking, but when you get inside most of it is closed - a private organization operates out of it now, the whole building is not a church anymore. Still, was an interesting view and photo. I'd visit again if I had a lot of time. Otherwise, you won't miss much if you skip. more

Chapel of the Holy Cross 8/20/2005

We came across this while reading a brochure and driving through Sedona. I never really heard of it until then, but it was a very cool site to see. The chapel is set amongst the huge rock formations and is breathtaking. You can go in the chapel until 5:30, even if you miss it, the view from the parking lot on the hill is very beautiful. You might as well stop and see it if you are in the Sedona area. more
