We were there late summer 2008 food was pretty good, went tonight 12/31/2008 food was terrible:( What used to be freshly prepared has now turned into precooked, frozen, reheated restaurant fare. YUCK! I realize it has been an economic tough year but come on owners!! I could have gone to Sam's Club, come home to reheat precooked, frozen food. Hopefully, they will read this and return to there previous ways. P. Johnson more

The location off of LaGrange Rd in Orland Park is less than mediocre in terms of a real sports bar. It's not a sports bar feel, instead it's modern gormet styling and pricing, when all we wanted was a relaxed feel, a good burger, with reasonable burger-kind of prices. Our first hint when we walked in the place was that every staff member was garbed in all black, and very subdued, not the warm, colorful, noisy welcome that we were looking for. Plus there were not any options for those looking for healthier, meatless options. I don't recommend it. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings, or even Hooters for a real Sports Bar, not Champs. more

My friend Jason and I love this bar, located not too far away from Woodfield Mall. This is a great place to sit and watch a football game, which is generally what we do. Specifically, we watch the USC games during the college football season. It's a mix of a restaurant and a bar. The food seems great, but mostly I just enjoy the company and the game. My friend recommends the food, however. The bar itself is laid out nicely and I have never found the place so loud that you can't have a decent conversation. They have multiple TVs. It really is rather impressive. Since the USC games tend to be blow-outs, I usually end up watching one of the other games on the multi-screen wall. If you have a bunch of guys looking for a place to go, hang out, have a beer and watch a game, then you have to try Champps. more

My co-workers and I love this spot for a good, casual lunch. Its a typical sports bar setting, so its loud in here most of the time. But that never bothers us. I usually order one of their huge burgers that comes with their waffle fries and a nice, cold Coke. The portions here are huge and really filling. I love the casual, laid-back atmosphere here. It makes the whole experience really fun. One time we actually had a meeting here. But for that they gave us a little space on their patio, which is covered. That was a nice, quiet place that actually allowed us to focus a bit on work. Of course, they great food made the meeting one of the best I've been to! more
