Onsite Techs reinforce choices 1/7/2016

We just had our ducts replaced and Justin and Jacob were quick, efficient, detail oriented, personable and certainly reflected excellent customer service in our home! Justin displayed his knowledge of our project and explained why they were doing what they did. Showing me the results, cleaned up after they finished, were courteous and happy workers. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth and that they were watching out for my best interests in everything they did! Will keep my maintenance agreement going, because they care about our relationship with them as a customer! It is hard these days to find a company that doesn't treat you like the bottom line is more important. Champion AC provides quality service more than any AC company I've dealt with in the last 20 years! People like John and Justin and Jacob are proof of this ! Thank you! more

Trying to get us to buy a new unit, when our system still works. 12/20/2015

We are selling our house and wanted to get our system cleaned and checked to make sure there were no surprises with buyer's inspection. They came out and did an inspection, however receipt says Tune up and inspection. They didn't do any tune ups. The guy tried to tell all these things were wrong and all the estimates were over $3000, so upwards of $7500. Little did he know at the time, my brother works for another AC company in San Antonio and only reason I contacted their company was my brother's company was completely booked for weeks. I showed my brother the report and he said the report was to try and up sell me for un-needed work or new system. The day after I got inspection, the buyer's inspector came out to do same thing. When we received inspector's report nothing that was reported the day before was found. Be careful because all they're looking for is MORE MONEY. more

From the beginning to the end Great Service 12/17/2015

Champion AC are a very friendly and honest bunch. We purchased a complete AC and air duct work system. We were very pleased from the appointment to the finish product. Chris S. explained our options in layman's terms. The technicians Mike R. and Mike O., who installed our system were very professional and courteous. We are just waiting on our CPS rebate. Champion AC is a company worth recommending. more

Installation of new AC unit 12/5/2015

Very happy with my experience with Champion AC .Aaron the service tech came out to check my unit and provided me with several options explaining everything I wanted to know. I decided on replacing my old unit and was pleasantly surprised to be able to schedule the work for the following day. Jason and Chris arrived as promised and quickly installed the new unit in just a few hours. After the installation they showed me how to program the thermostat, answered any questions I had and left everything clean and spotless. The new unit is working great.. I understand why this company has great ratings, am very glad I called them and would highly recommend them. more

The customer service was excellent from the person answering the call to the the person sent to fix my ac. He has on time and very professional. He found the problem within 30 mins and fix it at a reasonable price. My ac works perfectly since this company game. I highly recommend this company. I've had other companies cone for months and never fixed the problem. I will forever use champion ac company only. Thank you more

I attended a CPS Roadshow and was very surprised when I found out that I won a complete A/C unit. Champion provided the unit out of their kindness and generosity. The staff was wonderful starting with Mandy, Richard, Ben and all the staff. Justin and Thomas did a wonderful job with the installation. Everyone involved in the installation were very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you Champion and all your staff for such a wonderful experience. We will forever be grateful to you for making our life so much more comfortable and affordable too! We will be very happy to recommend you to everyone that needs service.! more

Excellent Customer Service 11/20/2015

I have dealt with other AC services and this is by far the best. I am a veteran and property owner who lives in a different state. When researching AC service providers in San Antonio, I choose this company because it advertised that it was veteran owned and operated. After a recent service call to the property, I received the invoice and called the office number for clarification and advice. I was immediately transferred to the general manager, Chris Stokes, who was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He clarified the invoice and went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. True to their advertisement, I was happy to find out he is a USMC veteran! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in San Antonio area! more

GREAT SERVICE! 11/19/2015

HAVE A RENTAL PROPERTY IN SAN ANTONIO. I LIVED IN SAN ANTONIO FOR 5 YEARS AND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE MY FOREVER HOME. UNFORTUNATLY WHEN THE OIL MOVES, YOU MUST MOVE WITH IT. I AM CURRENTLY RENTING MY BELOVED HOUSE IN SAN ANTONIO TO A WONDERFUL FAMILY THAT TREATS IT AS THEIR OWN. MY TENANTS CONTACTED ME LATE ON A FRIDAY NIGHT INFORMING ME THAT THE AIR CONDITION WAS NOT COOLING THE HOME AND THAT THERE WAS ICE ALL OVER IT. I CRINGED AT THE THOUGHT. I FRANTICALLY STARTED SEARCHING FOR HEATING & AIR REPAIR IN SAN ANTONIO. MOST COMPANIES THAT I SEARCHED WERE ALREADY CLOSED UNTIL I FOUND CHAMPION AC. I SPOKE TO AN ACTUAL PERSON WHO WORKED THERE, NOT AN ANSWERING SERVICE AND SHE WAS ABLE TO GIVE ME HER FIRST APPOINTMENT AT 8AM. WHAT A RELIEF. AARON ARRIVED AT MY RENTAL PROPERTY AT 8 PROMPTLY. IN THE BACK OF MY MIND I KNEW IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BUT I DEFINATLY DIDN’T TELL HIM THAT. HE CALLED ME AFTER DOING A DIAGNOSTIC ON THE SYSTEM. HE FIRST WANTED TO TELL ME THAT THE SYSTEM WAS REPAIRABLE BUT IT WAS A COSTLY REPAIR. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE R-22 FREON WAS GOING TO BE OBSOLETE IN A FEW YEARS WHICH I HAD NO IDEA. HE GAVE ME SEVERAL OPTIONS ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT BRANDS AND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM ALL. HE LET ME KNOW WHICH SYSTEMS QUALIFIED FOR REBATES. AARON ASKED ME IF I PLANNED ON RETURNING TO SAN ANTONIO. I THOUGHT IT WAS AN UNUSUAL QUESTION AT FIRST BUT THEN HE SAID IF THIS WILL BE YOUR HOUSE AGAIN, THIS ENERGY EFFICENT SYSTEM THAT QUALIFIES FOR REBATES WOULD BE THE BEST CHOICE FOR THE LONG HAUL. IF YOU WOULD JUST LIKE TO GET YOUR TENANTS COOLING AGAIN AND DO NOT INTEND ON RETURNING THEN I RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM. I REALLY APPRECIATED AARON TAKING THE TIME TO ASK ME THAT QUESTION, HAD HE NOT I PROBABLY WOULD OF CHOSEN THE MOST COST EFFICIENT SYSTEM BUT, SINCE I AM RETURNING TO SAN ANTONIO HOPEFULLY VERY SOON I CHOSE THE SYSTEM THAT WOULD BEST SUITE MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF. Champion saved the day!! 11/18/2015

I WAS HAVING SOME TROUBLE WITH MY AC AND MY HUSBAND WAS OUT OF TOWN. DUE TO THE RURAL AREA I LIVE IN, IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND A COMPANY THAT WAS WILLING TO COME OUT TO MY HOME. AFTER WHAT SEEMED LIKE CALLING 20 DIFFERENT COMPANIES I CALLED CHAMPION AC. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT OFFERED ME SAME DAY SERVICE AND WAS NOT GOING TO CHARGE ME MORE MONEY DUE TO LIVING OUTSIDE OF SAN ANTONIO. AS PROMISED, CHAMPION SENT A TECHNICIAN THE SAME DAY. MY HUSBAND TYPICALLY HANDLES ANYTHING MECHANICALLY INCLINED AND I WAS A BIT WORRIED THAT I WAS GOING TO BE WAY OUT OF MY ELEMENT OR TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. CHAMPION AC IMMEDIATELY ASSURED ME THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO BE OKAY AND THE TECHNICIAN TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN A WAY I COULD UNDERSTAND AND EVEN OFFERED TO CALL MY HUSBAND FOR ME SO THAT WE WERE ALL ON THE SAME PAGE. THE TECHNICIAN STAYED AND TOOK CARE OF THE REPAIR AND BEFORE YOU KNEW IT, MY 6 MONTH OLD AND I WERE COOL AGAIN. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE, HONESTY AND INTEGRITY OF THIS COMPANY. THEY EVEN HONORED MY HUSBANDS MILITARY DISCOUNT. I WILL REMAIN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. more

Bad Unit 11/14/2015

I purchased a new AC about 2 years ago from Champion. I had 2 major issues with the unit and I was so displeased that I asked for a new unit. Champion made me a good offer on a new unit even though they were not obligated to so. My cost was basically about 2 years of depreciation. This was a far better deal then I would have received any where else. more

Great, Knowledgeable, Professional! 11/14/2015

Needed some work done on entire system. Called Champion AC and Mandy was friendly when I called and made an appointment. Service Technician, Alfredo M., arrived and inspected the whole system and provided me with his professional recommendations. He answered all questons I had with making a decision that would work for us. He was informative, friendly and went above and beyond when he did his job. We set a next day repair appointment and Installers, Justin C. and Jesse M. arrived and completed the work in a very timely manner. Even though I didn't receive a call prior to their arrival to let me know they were on their way, Justin C. apologized and went on to do the work. All the people that we were in contacted with were courteous and professional. We highly recommend Champion AC! GREAT JOB CHAMPION AC! more
