Skye and Dr. Kuo were fantastic! 9/21/2010

Everyone worked really well together. Great, happy environment. Painless root canal for someone who is terrified of needles and dentist. Skye and Dr. Kuo were fantastic! more

An outstanding job 9/8/2010

The family hygienist is Mandi and she does an outstanding job, not only by taking care of our smiles but doing her job with a smile on her face and making me and the kids comfortable, and that is very important. more

Do not go here ever, they will rip you off 10/13/2009

I went here about a year ago. They were very serious and told me my teeth were so bad I needed descaling and antibiotic treatment for bad gum disease. In addition I was told I had numerous cavities that would need white fillings because the silver kind don't work and no one uses them anymore, plus a crown on a back tooth. They did not hesitate to use fear tactics here either, told me I HAD to have this done and that I could not wait. They then took me in a back room and tried to get me to sign up for a payment plan, and that the total bill would be well over 3k. I went to get a second opinion. Turns out, I did have a few cavities which they filled with silver fillings. Apparently, the white fillings are way more expensive. AND I didn't need a crown or tooth scaling/antibiotics. Do not go to Jackson Kuo or Champaign Dental group. They only want to rip you off with unnecessary treatment so they can get more money out of you. Cons: Unnecessary treatment reccomendations more

Had great experience entire time he has worked here 9/14/2009

I have been under Dr. Kuo's care since he began work in Champaign, and my experience has been excellent. I have found him friendly yet thorough and precise when it comes to my dental care. The staff has been friendly and thoroughly professional. I rarely spend more than a few minutes in the waiting room. I have not seen anything like the complaints that other reviewers have offered. Neither have the other 5 members of my family who see Dr. Kuo. Don't avoid this dentist because someone had a bad day - this office offers quality care and keeps you on time. Pros: Attentive service, friendly staff, quality care more

Worst service ever 9/11/2009

I kept on going back to this dentist, thinking that things would get better but they got worse. They have terrible customer service. The desk help needs to be trained better in learning how to ""care"" about patients. And the dental hygienists need more training. Evidently a degree from Parkland does not make one a good dental hygienist. A patient should not have to wait an hour for a desk clerk to let you know that they cannot fulfill an appointment. Be courteous to your patients, please! Better training is needed! Cons: Better Service is needed more

Worst skilled dentist 5/4/2009

I went there last year after my teeth got chipped. He made my tooth diagonal, so I told them to do it again and still bad. I went to different dentist. compared to this place, it was amazing experience. DO NOT go this place more

Seemingly more interested in money than healthcare, but state-of-the-art 2/18/2009

Recommended an expensive root scaling and planing operation for supposedly moderate periodontal disease by the hygienist. Had not been detected by a different dentist 7 months prior. Got a second opinion, and new dentist agreed with prior dentist that I had only mild gum disease requiring ordinary cleanings. However, they do have state-of-the-art equipment and seem to do very thorough diagnostic tests. Pros: State-of-the-art equipment (except old-fashioned x-rays I think) Cons: Overly aggressive in treatment recommendations more

Avoid at all costs!!! 6/18/2008

Well...were do I begin. Pros: None... Cons: Corporate dentist office, dentist was distracted/rushed, horrible service more
