My Pets' Vets for life 11/22/2011

To anyone reading this page and contemplating whether or not this animal hospital is for you, I highly recommend Centennial Hills. But don't take it from me, go there yourself and check it out with your own eyes. If you're too busy for that, just call and try to schedule a tour, the staff has always been very accommodating with things like that. I just sent my neighbors down there two weeks ago and they have basically made Centennial Hills their vets for life. more

Dr. Stooksbury is the BEST!!! 7/7/2011

Dr. Stooksbury has been treating my two basset hounds for about the last three years. While I have been a client of CHAH for almost 6 years, I consider myself & my pets to be extremely fortunate to have found such a caring, compassionate and competent veterinarian in Dr. Stooksbury. While both of my dogs are older and have health concerns, my female has had aggressive dental disease and was diagnosed with cancer last year. Over that last year and a half, Dr. Stooksbury has gone above and beyond on more than one occasion and has proven herself to be more than we could have ever dreamed to have found in a vet. She has always remained compassionate, helpful & most importantly non-judgmental when it has come to tough decisions. She has a been a invaluable part of our support system. It is veterinarians like her that make the world a better place for animals. I would highly recommend her for day to day veterinary care as well as more difficult health problems such as ours. more

Caring Animal hospital with excellent staff 3/22/2011

I have been going to Cent Hills Anm Hosp for a couple of years now and have never had a bad experience. The girls up front were always courteous and kind. There have been a few vets there over the years that have really done excellent with my Buddy since I rescued him 3 years a ago- Dr. Porter, Dr. VanderLind, and Dr. Stooksbury. The veterinarians have always been so kind and have answered all of my questions. I started with Dr. Porter a few years back, and have seen Dr. Vanderlind a few times, but I absolutely LOVE Dr. Stooksbury. She spends time answering all of my questions, and goes above and beyond what any normal vet would do. I know the wait can be a little long at times, especially on Saturdays, but knowing the quality of service that my Buddy received is absolutely worth it. I have found that if you need a quick in and out, schedule an appointment, and it definetely saves ssome time. The girls up at the front desk are wonderful! I have seen them busy as could be and they are always smiling and helpful. I won't ever take my pets anywhere else. more

Very unprofessional!! 3/4/2011

I recently went in to cent hills animal hospital and saw Dr Vanderlin. First off, he was very condescending to me from the beginning. Things got out of hand and he started yelling at me! The conversation went to the lobby of this place where he was STILL yelling at me in front of clients!! How unprofessional!! A lady that worked there tried to talk to me, but the Dr yelled at her! Saying ""get out of my way"" What the hell kind of place is this??? That Dr needs to learn how to handle his anger. I ended up going to creature comforts after this fiasco and was very happy! I didn't get yelled at and my pet got top notch veterinary care! My wife and I will continue going to Creature Comforts NEVER TO CENT HILLS!!! more

We have used Centennial since 2004 and would go nowhere else. They have treated 3 of our dogs. more

I would like to thank Centennial Hills Animal Hospital for their caring of my puppy. At times there are communication glitches and this may very well have been the case for us. Upon further communications with the hospital, we are delighted to be able to pick up our recovering puppy today. more

anything but Dr. Austin 6/11/2010

from an insiders experience,i used to work there until recently,DO NOT let Dr. Austin treat your pets!!!!! she is a horrible doctor.animals have died on the operating table just when she was neutering or spaying them.she is extremely snooty and rude and has no respect for the employees either.i suggest if you chosse this animal hospital and for dr mackey,dr vanderlind,dr holliday,dr stooksbury,or dr assad.these 5 are wonderful doctors and will make sure the well-being of your pets is taken care of. more

To all reading this review ! i hope you guys learn a lesson on this animal hospital.. yaya good DOCTOR ..DR.AUSTIN \r we were looking forward on our baby puppies specially my son , when we got to this hospital DOCTOR told us to bring are dog back when our dog is almost giving birth! now all our puppies died because of you ,i really hope you dont do the same to other loving and caring home who loves their pet so much..good luck to all of you!\r and hey whats this all about i have to give you a rating before i could submit this well so for the sake of evryone for them to learn something even though is hard i'll give u this! happy...... more

Centennial Hills Animal Hospital goes ABOVE and BEYOND other vets 1/8/2010

I have been going to Centennial Hills for over a year and have had the BEST experience. The staff is very nice and goes above and beyond most other vets. Their boarding facility is great! The kennel staff was excellent and even gave me a tour of their boarding area. The place is exceptionally clean. A++ more

Great place to take your pets! 12/31/2009

I moved here a couple of months ago from Oregon, and am very happy. I first brought in my two cuddle bugs for vaccines and the doctors and staff were great!! Everyone was very nice and helpful, and the place was really clean. The prices are much better than back home. Since moving here, I've had to go out of town a few times and have had to put them in their boarding area. I was really nervous because my babies are on a very special, all natural, home cooked diet and the last place I took them in Oregon couldn't get feeding them right and most of the food went bad! Cent Hills was very accomodating to my pets and even heated their food every day. They were great! A+++ from me! Pros: Reasonable prices, great location, great staff more

Luckily my husband and I made the decision to follow Dr. Vanderlind from the Craig Road animal hospital a few years back. I am so happy that we did. Recently my english mastiff had to come in for a small surgery. The Dr's and staff were very caring, and once again did a great job. I couldn't ask for a more caring place to take my fur babies! I never have a long wait. They even took the time to cut pain pills in half so I wouldn't have to. Once again I am amazed by the compassion and care my little dog received. Thank You Kieli Davis more

I don't like this place! 10/24/2009

The vet I'd been using for 9 years went out of business so I tried this place because it was close to my ranch. They took my dog out of the exam room just for a rabies shot! The exam rooms only have brochures and a video monitor in them... no equipment or supplies so apparently all treatment is done out of your view. I prefer to be present during treatment. I took one of my dogs in to have ONE small puncture wound treated and they wanted to put him under general anesthesia, then suggested he have a $600 teeth cleaning ""since he'd be knocked out"". I asked if they could just lance and clean the wound, put in a drainage tube and give me some antibiotics. They agreed to lance and clean the wound but refused to irrigate it or put in a tube without the general anesthesia! I will NOT take my dogs there again. Pros: They do in-home euthanasia Cons: Won't treat your animal in front of you more

Centennial Hills Animal Hospital is great other than Dr. Austin. 10/10/2009

I love this hospital! Their prices are fair. A little high but the work they do is well worth it. The only complaint I have is that they have a doctor employed there that shouldn't be. In fact, I don't think she should have gotten a license to practice. If you take your animal to this clinic, make sure the doctor you see is NOT Dr. Austin. You will be taking a chance with your animals life if you do! Other than that, this place is amazing. Great customer service and treatment. more
