Cedar River Medical Massage

I highly a recommend Cedar River Medical Massage. I just went again yesterday. Pete and Lisa are both great but Pete is my favorite. He leaves me feeling great and lifts my spirit at the same time. My back was killing me and when I left not a single ache. At my age nearly 70 that's amazing. I even forgot my watch I feeling so great and they called me to let me know. more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I booked an appointment here after scouring the internet for a massage therapist near me who focused on medical issues in February. When I showed up I was greeted by the therapist, Pete, who was in the middle of another massage and left the room. He handed me forms and while i filled them out I could hear the previous patron groaning through the walls. I waited until it was my turn. This place was worn down, and I should have trusted my instinct and walked away from the appointment right then and there. During the massage, while I was lying on the table Pete started talking to me about his personal religious beliefs. I didn't say anything, but it personally made me pretty uncomfortable - I felt like I was being judged, which is not what I'm looking for when I am seeking a medical treatment. It wasn't like I could really get up and walk away either. After the massage he called me to reschedule. I politely told him I wasn't interested in coming back. Then he called me again, a week later to beg me to reconsider. At that point I told him to stop calling and that I wasn't interested in EVER coming back. I had to hang up on him. then on September 10th, I got another call from his office, telling me that I had only used one of my 12 massages on the prescription referral, and asking if I needed to reschedule again. Overall, I will not be back, nor could I recommend this business to friends in good faith. Additionally, after I posted this initial review, I received an email from a Pete S. basically asking me to remove this review and... and wait for it.... telling me that I needed to explain to him in a way he could tell his daughter why I was taking food off of his daughter's table. more

I was in a car accident several months back and was suffering from neck pain and headaches. After my first visit, the worst of both symptoms were gone for several days; long enough to get me through to my next appointment, and the rest has been steadily improving since then. Pete balanced treatment for my (rather painful) injury with an awareness of how much discomfort I can handle and I always leave feeling 120%. He doesn't just think of massage as a way to make a person feel better, but actually gets blood flowing where its needed to help with healing. He's been great about answering my questions and I recommend this place to anyone in a similar situation. more

I cannot believe that Peter was even a massage therapist. I walked in and wasn't even acknowledged. Once I was in the room for the massage, I noticed a smell...It was Peter. I expect that the person giving my massage should have great personal hygiene and should not smell. He also did not listen to my concerns nor my body. I will never be going back to this place again.. I walked out with a headache. I should never walk out of a massage with a headache. Please be careful of where you go. more

I was up from Phoenix visiting my Grandma after the long plane flight my neck was sore. Grandma recomended these guys. The were excellent. I was a little worried about having a guy work on me. But he was so professional my mind was put to ease in first few minutes i was in the building. They seemed to know exactly were I hurt before I said anything. They even checked to see if the presure was right and it was. When I left I felt like a wet noodle. Arrived back home in Phoenix 3 weeks ago and can't find anyone who can come close to doing as good a job. Guess Grandma is going to see me more. These guys are absolutely the best. I have tried several places seattle to tacoma and these guys are the best. It wasn't one of those pansy massages that left me feeling like I had just been painted with oil or lotion and it wasn't so hard that hurt. These guys are a clase act. From the moment i walked in with their warm inviting office to the moment i happily paid and left a large tip. They not only new were I hurt but they were able to give me complete pain relief. I will be back next time i hurt.l Pros: Less exspensive and gave me the best massage i have ever recieved. I have had dozens of massages all over the Renton area and this was the first true deep tissue massage I found. Pete did more for me in 1 one visit than all the other massages therapist put together and 3 years of weekly visits to my chiropractor. Pros: Quality massage at a budget price Cons: None! more

Wow, I couldn't possible express in words how good I feel right now. Pete is truely a master at massage. He has warm cozy little shop, The moment I layed on the heated table until I got up I was in heaven. I can't imagine a nicer experience. I'm not only relaxed but all my little aches and pains are gone too. I thought I had recieved great massages before but they were nothing compared to this one. Wow, these people really know what there doing. I've had lots of massages that leave me feeling relaxed and even remove the pain temporarily but these people relaxed me and its been a month and the pain is still gone. I highly recomend all three of there people if your looking for a good deep tissue massage. Pros: Great hands, Easy parking, Wonderfull freindly staff, they accept insurance more

I can't count how many massages I've had but I would guess 500 or so. I love massages and have received massage as a result of an auto accident. I travel a lot and have recieved massages in most of the 50 states. Every time I'm away from home I get a massage. I can say that Cedar River Medical Massage is as good as it gets. They really worked out the kinks and left me feeling great. They are a true professionals and if I ever get in another auto accident this is where I am going to go. The massage I recieved from them not only left me relaxed but removed my aches and pains too! I have told several of my friends about them and they all rave about how good they were treated. more
