After my recent move to the area I was looking for a Chiropractor to help me maintain the special needs I have for my back, and I was so happy to have found Dr. Swanson. He was able to diagnose my issues and restore the mobility in my back upon my first visit. My whole experience in his office has been pleasant; he has a very friendly and helpful staff, he is prompt with appointments and very flexible with scheduling, and his treatments are quick and painless. I have just started going to see Dr Swanson last week. I contacted his office in dire need of help. I am currently trying to get off all the pain meds I have been on for the last 8 years and since getting off them I have been in more pain than any 1 person should ever have to deal with in a lifetime. To make a long story short, I called his office the ladies there are fantastic and told me to come in that day and they promised me that Dr Swanson would help me with my pain. That afternoon just a couple hours later I walked in feeling absolutely no hope, miserable and wanted to crawl in a cave somewhere and left life pass by or heck chopping off my shoulder where the pain was unbearable was definitely an option at this point in my mind. Dr Swanson was very welcoming and friendly. Took x-rays and explained everything to me on what he does and how it all works. I have to say I was a little skeptic on if this truly was going to be successful or not, after all the only thing that has helped me thus far in the last 8 years were pain pills. Anyway, he did some acupuncture on me and said to come on back the next day. That night I was about 20% better than I was when I got there that afternoon but still in an incredible amount of pain. The following day I went in to see Dr Swanson and he did his magic of chiropractic work on me. He popped me in places I didn't even know I could be popped. That night I was rather sore and thought to myself (not sure if this is working or not but I'm in for the long hall to try it out). The next morning I woke up and I felt better than I had in such a long time. No kidding the pain was 50% better. Completely shocked myself that, that was even possible. Everyday now that I get to go to his office is a great gift and treat knowing that I am walking out every time getting better and better and the pain pills are going to be a part of the past. If you ever see me in his office feel free to talk to me in person. I absolutely believe that Dr Swanson can help anyone who has pain they are experiencing and want gone. He is your man. more

I have been seeing a Chiropractor off and on for the better part of 30 years, and I am confident when I say that Cedar Park Chiropractic is the very best one that I have ever been to. Dr. Swanson is truly amazing. The Staff are the most friendly that I have ever encountered in the medical profession. There is never a wait time in the office and they make it a point to ensure that you feel better when you leave than you did when you arrived. A couple of weeks ago, I ended up in the emergency room with very bad back pain. I have never had a bad back and was very discouraged because all I was being offered by the ER and the MD were PT and pills. All I could do it lay in bed. I decided to seek out the help of Dr. Swanson. It is two weeks later and I was able to go to my regular workout session today with no pain. He has been very good about listening to my concerns and addressing my needs. Now that I am pain free, I am ready to work with him on other health issues that have been bothering me that I am certain can be helped by having a healthy spine. I have 3 children and have always had back problems. Being a mom, I put my own needs aside because I'm busy with the family, kids and work. This place was just what we needed. My nine year old son was having daily headaches. After seeing a dentist, optometrist, ophthalmologist and an allergist, we started at Cedar Park Chiropractic. They took a personal interest in my son. They are so nice, and the whole atmosphere is comfortable. My son loves going and he knows it was making him better. The headaches have been minimized greatly and are almost completely gone. The office has convenient hours and worked well with my insurance. I typically don't wait at all. They were the answer to our prayers for guidance on how to treat my son for sure! I will recommend them to anyone! more

I just moved to Austin and my back went out, before I found a local physician. I have degenerative disc disease and have been loosing one about every three years. Ten years of a pain, and my previous doctor would prescribe muscle relaxers and recommend ice while staying underweight. With debilitating episodes increasing, I asked about Chiropractic care, but he was against it. He told me I needed surgery, but because of the risks, I should put it off as long as possible. When my new physician recommended I see Dr. Swanson, I was surprised, because of what my previous doctor has told me. My pain scale was at a 10, and I my blood pressure was off the charts when I should up at his clinic. The staff immediately got me in a room and began therapy. I was terrified to have anyone touch my back, but everything Dr. Swanson did relieved pain and pressure and within days, I was almost normal. His treatment recommendations are logical and easy to follow. Surgery has now become an option, rather than a necessity and each day I show such a marked improvement, that it is astounding my family and friends. Numerous other conditions, that are a direct result from my back, are dropping to the wayside every few days, I have surges of adrenaline from being pain-free, my back is not occupying my every waking thought and I am sleeping with out drugs, for the first time in 10 years. I would tell anyone needing chiropratic care to go see Dr. Swanson in a heartbeat. I love my husband to death and he is the sole provider for our new young family so I was terrified when he began having back pain so badly that he could hardly get upstairs in our own home, or even extend his leg out all the way. Upon calling eveyone in the phonebook that I thought might be of any assistance, I somehow had narrowed it down to Dr. Swanson's office as the route the seemed most worthy of a try. They were willing to work with us payment wise since we didn't have health insurance and Katie up at the desk was just genuinely nice & seemed concerned everytime I had spoken to her on the phone. That was refreshing considering that was NOT the trend I was encountering often on these phone calls. I know now that whatever drew me to Dr. Swanson's clinic is my saving grace because I 100% believe that the care my husband received there not only helped him feel better in regards to the pain he had been feeling recently but taught him how to not allow it to get to that point ever again. I feel it was very personalized care and it wasn't one of those awkward things where it seems to be that the people just want to get you in then get you out as quick as possible. Dr. Swanson pulled strings for my husband and dug deeper instead of just treating him by some textbook idea of what he thought MIGHT make it better and getting on with his day. Going into all this, neither of us were even slightly familiar with chiropractic care but after what I saw happen to my husband and how bad it had gotten & now how much better it is I am without a doubt a supporter of it and feel it can do wonders for people in very painful situations. I'm happy to say my husband is back to himself again and so is his back and so is his leg. The girls up front at the desk are amazing! Dr. Swanson is amazing! I had back surgery almost 2 years ago for scoliosis. It was a very slow recovery, but everything went great. About 6 months ago, i started having severe sciatic pain due to this surgery. The only thing that would ease my pain was Motrin. I was taking way more than what was recommended and realized that this cannot be good. I was referred to Dr. Swanson for acupuncture and was a little hesistant at first. After the 2nd week of treatment, i was cured. I have had no pain in over a month now. I recently went skiing and i just knew that this sort of exercise would flare up the pain again. I couldn't believe that i had NO pain what so ever. I swear it was the acupuncture that really helped me. Dr. Swanson is the best!! more

I am a snow bird from MN and visited Dr Swanson on 12/14 for the first time, such bad back pain I could barely walk and not bend over to pick up something. After my adjustment, I had to take two days off from my routine of barn work for 4 horses. Truly amazed after my second adjustment I am able to complete my chores and bathe 2 horses with no pain. I realize I have had pain in my hips over the last two months and it just built up with no attention and am so releaved that my husband is going to try an adjustment. I had massive pain in my lower back and hips. I could barely walk and heaven forbid I lay or sit down for more than 10 seconds because it hurt even worse when I got back up. I didn't think that one session could make so much difference. My pain has been drastically reduced and I am going back. I got lucky to find such a good chiropractor. They are like mechanics for people. Make sure you find a good one because if not, you might end up worse off. more
