LOVE Cattlemans Custer 7/21/2010

We arrived late (9pm), with a large (9) group ages 9 to 45.. the menu had something for everyone, including pasta, bbq, seafood, and we loved it all. service was excellent and the gift shop was actually entertaining for at least 45 minutes for the whole group! more

We stop by every time we're in the area 7/19/2010

My husband and I still stop by every time we're in the area for their bison steak. I'm not a connoisseur, being practically vegetarian except for my curious addiction to bison, shrimp, and salmon, but that's some good stuff, dude. Especially after a six mile hike in the state park, which is usually the condition we visit this place in. :) more

Loved their breakfast!!! 7/14/2010

Though we didn't eat there for lunch or dinner, breakfast was delicious. I guess some might compare prices to Perkins but I'd say it's much better than Perkins as far as quality of food and customer service. We really enjoyed it. I'd stop again! We contemplated going their for dinner but instead, we went to the Dark Horse (right behind it) which was fantastic as well!!! more

Great meal!! 7/12/2010

The wife and I ate supper there tonight. I had a 10 oz prime rib with a baked potato and the wife had the steak fillet with a baked potato. We both had our steaks cooked to medium-rare. We both had wine with the meal and a "turtle puff" for dessert. The steaks were done to perfection, the wine and dessert excellent. The service was top-notch. The place was packed and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The facilities were immaculate. There's no doubt that we'll be going back again very soon! more

Great food! 7/12/2010

We ate twice at the Cattleman's Steakhouse. We found the food to be very good. When we ate dinner there, the food was cooked as we wished. We found the waiter to be very efficient. The second time we ate there, we had a young lady that spoke limited English. We enjoyed her-she tried very hard to please and kept an eye on us. I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. Prices were also reasonable. more

we had dinner here one night i had steak medallions that were very good, my husband had bbq combo chicken and ribs. his was a huge portion of both that were excellent. service was also very good. more

Cattlemans has the best steak I have ever eaten! 6/23/2010

My husband has been coming to the hills for years. We came on our honeymoon 4 years ago. WE make it a planned stop every year. Flavor, tenderness, price and service were all great. In the four years we have been going there,we never had bad service or meals.The waitresses were always spot on for service. We can't wait for vacation this year. I wish i could have one of their steaks right now,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!D. Meyer-IOWA more

Great Food 6/23/2010

The food was great, the service was wonderful, and as fa as the price, cant be beat. No where can you get a 8 oz filet for 12.00.and be able to cut it with your butter knife, The buffalo steak was just as tender. We are from Texas and the 3 of us ate for 45.00 back home it would have cost us 80.00. and not have been as good. We will eat there again on our way through.? more
