The crew is the best. Always smiling and kind. The Dentist, Dr House is the Tony Stark of dentistry. And the hygienist has the softest touch more

Never thought I'd say that I enjoyed going to the Dentist, but after my visit to Castle Dental in Goodlettsville this past Monday, Wow, it really was a pleasure !!\r The Staff was warm, welcoming, friendly & very professional from the moment we walked in the door. They were constantly concerned about my comfort & pain level, making sure all was ok through my extractions. Dr. House was awesome, never had a better Dentist!! No doubt about going back to Castle Dental - others should take lessons from this practice. \r Thank you Dr. House and the Great Staff at Castle Dental - making going to the Dentist a pleasure !! more

I read the reviews here on google and I was very apprehensive about going here. So many people said negative things. However, the office is close to my work. I called, and made an appointment because I saw the advertisement they were running about an exam special. The lady that answered the phone said that the office was under new leadership, and that Dr. House was the dentist there, and that he was relatively new to the office. Dr. House and his staff were great! They made me feel very welcome and calm. He told me about all of the problems I have with my gums and my teeth, and recommended that we control my gum disease, then repair my damaged teeth. I had to have a few extractions, and they were over before I knew it. I didn't feel a thing! I used to be terrified to go to the dentist, but not anymore. Dr. House and his staff are great people, and I would recommend them to anyone that needs a professional dentist. more

Had a toothache from an old root canal that fell apart because I never put a cap on it. I work on Gallatin Road, so I see the office signs everyday when I go to work. I woke up in excruciating pain, and my jaw swollen like a fruit, and couldn't stand it anymore, so I went to see if I could be treated then. The front desk lady told me that the doctor would be happy to see me. It was near noon when I went in. The doctor was leaving for lunch and he saw my swollen face. He told some of the ladies to take me to the back and get xrayed. He put on a lab coat and came and talked to me right away and explained why my face was so swollen. He then numbed me and took the tooth and all of the infection out of my face. The shots didn't hurt and they just felt a little bruised like. Dr. House is awesome. The other reviews here are for another Doctor and staff, before House took over. He runs the show there, and he gave up his lunch hour to help me. I'm going to see him again in two weeks to have the rest of my teeth looked at, to see what can be done to repair them. more

Great Experience! I just moved to the area and was in need of a new dentist. I saw the $29 special and thought I would give it a try. The front desk girl was very accommodating and gave me an appointment the next day. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions without making me feel stupid for asking. The dentist was very comforting and explained everything in great detail. I had not been to the dentist in years and have a fear of dentists so this was the best experience I have had thus far. The office manager made my treatment affordable and even allowed me to make payments on my treatment. I definitely found my new dental home. more

Beware extra fees with little explanation and no reminders 2/2/2012

I made my initial appt for an evening expecting that I would be having my teeth ex rayed and cleaned. The receptionist told me when I got there that it was a possibility that I would not be getting my cleaning because the hygienist could choose not to do it at that time. They explained that on a first visit they normally evaluate and the hygienist would be left to decide on whether the cleaning would be done on the same day. Whatever, no big deal, I rescheduled another appt. then I go in and have the cleaning and one of what I?m told will be four fillings (they only did one so as not to disturb a canker sore in my mouth, very nice I thought so it got me over being irritated) I told them I didn't want the ""desensitizer"" they tried to sell me on in the initial visit a week prior. They didn't do it. Then i go to pay and it's only $28 cool right? For a cleaning and a filling? When I return for the other three fillings the DR says they are not that bad, so I only need one, she never said this one was in need of the desensitizer but when I pay the total is $88 FOR ONE TOOTH. I think this odd and call that night (Friday) leave a msg no one calls back. I call again on the next Thursday (yes a week later) still not really mad just confused and the office mgr and/or billing mgr. explains that they tell you about the additional charge in the beginning and don't feel they need to tell you again. Don't get me wrong, she was not really rude (except the part where she said ""IT IS WHAT IT IS) she was just not nice. I tell her it would have just been nice to know since yes it was mentioned, only there had been a week and a half between visits and I ADDIMATELY told them not to use this. Phone call ends, so I think. A few minutes later the tech (leighanne) calls me to literally fuss at me for calling and questioning the charge. I actually felt like a child in grade school getting yelled at for not doing something right. I tell her that as the customer I felt like it was not mentioned during the time I spent shaking from fear in the chair and they just did it without acknowledging weather I could afford it or not. At this point I?ve paid the extra $60 but I felt like some level of customer care was missing. She was awful to me and I WILL NOT BE BACK AND WILL TELL ANYONE WHO LISTENS NOT TO GO TO A CASTLE DENTAL. It?s a shame because I?m not a person that likes dentists and now I have to find another one. I feel like all they want is money and will crap on their customers to get it. This just seemed shady and I don?t appreciate getting yelled at by a person I paid for a service. more

It's not right!! 11/12/2011

Do not waste your time or money, they create various things for you to pay for, enticed you into loans to cover it, and you walk out in debt still needing what you originally went there for. You never have the same doctor, and each doctor gives you a new prognosis on what is needed or done. They have owed me a refund or credit for a year, then tell me i have to wait a month, they did not wait a month to recieve it, corporate office, where is it, lost in the confusion...they should go out of business preying on poor people. more

Rude Hygenist 6/4/2010

I went a few times...I have no Insurance. They hygenist...curly thick hair, was pushy....trying to get me to have this and that done when I don't have insurance. Pros: Nice at First Cons: Pushy, trying to make commission more

Terrible, HORRIBLE no good Dentist 2/2/2010

This is absolutely the worst dentist that I have ever been to. The staff is rude. When I call and complain, they act like they are doing me a favor. The building is old and I will never go there again. I only give them one star because I can't give them a negative number. Save your time, save your money and go elsewhere. Pros: There are none Cons: Everything is the worst more

Awful Experience, Don't give them your business at all 1/21/2010

The dentist seemed like she was rushing people out the door, and she seemed more concerned with trying to encourage more EXPENSIVE services that were not necessary to your overall treatment. I not only waited over two hours for treatment following initial x-rays but I was also encouraged to spend a ridiculous amount of ""out of pocket"" money for services that I didn't even need. I am deeply saddened by the lack of effort and organization of this facility. It seems that they are more interested in giving expensive and unnecessary treatment to patients than providing reasonable and practical dental care. I would DEFINITELY encourage Madison citizens and citizens elsewhere to take their business to another more responsible and organized facility. Pros: The dental assistants were friendly Cons: The dentist seemed inexperienced more

Not the best experience 6/18/2009

I have had difficult experiences at this location, although the new dentist is very good. I would not recommend this place overall. Pros: Good New Dentist Cons: Staff and Management - everything else more

Won't go back 5/28/2008

Went in to have a decayed and broken tooth pulled and have an impression for partials. The dentist said she would pull the tooth when I returned for the partials. It was supposed to take a week to ten days. After 3 weeks and having my tooth fall apart, I called Castle and was told my partials came in a few days ago! They never called me! I went three weeks with a bad tooth that should have been pulled on the first visit, which fell apart and will now involve extra work. In addition, antibiotics were supposed to be called into the pharmacy for me, and I've had to call twice to remind the dentist to call them in. This is my health they are playing with. I will find another dentist after this! Pros: None that I can think of Cons: See write up more

oh no 4/13/2008

Friendly staff. Horrible Management, building needs to be updated. Every time i go in to the office there are new faces. No one seems to stay. i gave it two stars because the staff is friendly that is about it. Managers are horrible. One office manager I came into contact with thought she knew everything. The other one that i met with last week about getting my son braces was friendly but kept talking. Which isnt bad but if you talk to her for more then 5 minutes you would see why you would want to end the conversation. Pros: friendly staff Cons: everything else that could be wrong is more
