Warm and Friendly 4/22/2008

I got my hair highlighted and cut by Ann. Everyone was so friendly. Ann did a wonderful job; I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair before this. I will be going back every time I need my hair done, even though it is a 45 minute drive! more

I dont know what those other reviews are about. I came to the salon a while ago and did get a good facial but I went back and had augustina for a facial and it was terrible. She didnt do very good extractions and rushed through the facial and when I asked about a product at the end she didn't seem to know anything about the products. Worthless spa. I wont go back. I Love this Place! 4/19/2008

I love this salon! I had an awesome Day of beauty. I had a fabulous facial with Augustina followed by an awesome massage with Ang. Then Misty did my manicure and pedicure and finished my day of beauty with a shampoo and style. I walked out of that salon looking and feeling rejuvinated! I found the staff knowledgeable and friendly. Molly, the receptionist is a gem and helped me find just the right products to achieve that same look once I got home. horrible 4/18/2008

i recently got a haircut done there by their ""top stylist"" and my haircut was awful... I normally go to Salon Jack but my stylist canceled on me so i decided to give cassandras a shot ..to say the least i would never go to her again.. Im sure some of the other girls are alright but my expierence was not..she cut about 4 inches off when i asked for a trim! Dont go!! Pros: parking Cons: stylist more

Finally - a DEEP tissue massage 4/7/2008

Long story short...I'm a big guy w/ a high pain tolerance. It's difficult to find a TRULY deep tissue massage. I've found it @ Cassandra's w/ Ang. End of story. Pros: She works nights so I can go after work and then go home and crash. Cons: Nada more

1st Facial...and I'm hooked! 4/4/2008

I just received my first facial with Augustina and let me tell you I am totally hooked. I was a little apprehensive about the whole procedure. But, Augustina talked me through the whole process and made me feel at ease. The extractions weren't even painful. I was so impressed I told my friends and co-workers all about her! more

The guy that did my haor was terrible. I had to pay ALOT of money at another salon to get my hair fixed. The cut was uneven and not at all what I asked for. The color looked so bad. the color was not good at all it was washed out and muddy . Don't go to this salon. Cons: everything more

Awesome Massage 3/24/2008

I just received the ultimate massage of my life! I travel ALOT and on my last day in town decided to get a massage w/ Angela. I didn't want to leave the table. It was AWESOME! I was so relaxed, I just wanted to stay and take a nap. I can't wait to come back to Tampa to book another deep tissue massage w/ Angela. I would definately recommend her to anyone w/ a stressful job/life! Pros: Awesome Massage Therapist Cons: Wish I would've found her sooner! more

Military Discounts!! 3/11/2008

I recently made an appointment for a deep tissue massage w/ Ang. I don't know about the rest of you, but for me it's difficult to find a deep tissue massage that's not just painful, but therapeutic. I received the most relaxing deep tissue massage. It was amazin! I travel quite a bit, being in the military. I would definately say Ang knows what she's doing and customizes her massage to what each client needs therapeutically. Some places, some therapists feel like you're just getting a ""cookie-cutter"" massage. more

Best Massage Therapist EVER 3/2/2008

Hi, I'm new to the area and really needed a massage. (High Stress Job) I walked in after a grueling week and left totally relaxed and ready to enjoy my first weekend off in months! I scheduled a relaxation massage with Angi and now have the massage therapist I never knew I was looking for. My schedule is a bit hectic but Angi is even willing to come in to work on me on Mondays - when most salons are closed. I have recommended Angi to all my friends and co-workers. Pros: Highly Skilled Massage Therapist Cons: Only wish my schedule permitted me to come more often than once a month more

Bad color job 2/5/2008

Went into cassandra's for the aveda experience got a hair cut and color, i have never colored my hair and thought i would try some blonde highlights, looked okay when i left, but after i shampoo my hair the next day, I noticed that not only was my cut bad i was a strawberry/ brassy blonde. I am looking for an excellent wax, was referred to Cassandra's by an aquaintance only to have one of my worst expereinces ever. The receptionist was sweet and i was greeted several times and offered a drink by different people, so everything was great up till the wax. My waxer was dressed totally unproffesionaly, ive never seen such a thing in a salon, she smelled like a night club( alcohol and cigarettes), and i few days later im covered in ingrown hairs! We just moved to town and found a great salon....my girlfriend and I both got cuts, colors and high lights...it is hard to say which one is better...although, Thomas gave me a hand massage with mine....but Macrae did an awesome job too...prices were so much cheaper than new york, but the quality was great....we have never used Aveda before, but now we are hooked....we found our new home town salon. I have been going to the salon for over 15 years. I love the new product line Aveda. The color is awesome and very conditioning. My hair has never looked better. I would highly recommend going to Cassandra's for my female and male friends. You can experience everything from head to toe. The new receptionist is very accommodating and helpful. This is a very well kept secret in South Tampa and I feel lucky to have found this awesome place. I would feel comfortable going to any of the employees as they all seem very professional. Needs a face lift 9/7/2007

Hard to see from road .Looks like they tried realy hard to change the look of the ranch style house to a salon store front. I was suprised to see the inside. It had a look like it was half way referbished. With the look of an old house.Real neat.The staff was real friendly and my hair cut and color were so so. The girl doing my hair didn't seem to confident. But i was treated very nice and it didnt cost a fortune. I'm still looking around for a great experience in south tampa. South Tampa's Salon Secret 9/1/2007

Found Cassandra's on city search and thought i would give it a shot, im new to the area and the location was convenient. I couldnt have made a better choice, the staff was friendly and attentive. Amy gave me an incredible facial and Jane cut and styled my hair. Then while i was waiting for my husband i received a makeup application, I left feeling like a new woman. Awesome color, relaxing facial! 8/30/2007

I moved to the area recently and a friend recommended this salon. I went in and got a very relaxing facial from Krista. Then McRay gave me highlights. They were exactly what I wanted. They were both young and trendy... definately down with the latest styles. I have a great experience and can't WAIT to go back. Pros: Good location Cons: Sign is hard to see from the road! more

AVEDA! Coolest Color & Cut 7/21/2007

Julie @ this AVEDA salon did a remake on me and it is amazing! I was so nervous to make such a big change to ""get in style"" but she knew exactly what to do and made me feel comfortable through the entire experience. I gave her 10 hugs! BEST Body Wraps Ever! 7/19/2007

I had the Grape Anti Aging Body wrap at Cassandras and it was the best experience ever! when i walked in the door they greated me with a glass of wine and grapes as i realxed and enjoyed my wine the staff was extremly friendly when i went in for my treatment the room was so beautiful candels were lit and it felt so warm and inviting the whole process was so relaxing and the best part of it all was the after treatment my skin was glowing and beautiful it felt brand new and i felt like my wrinkles diminessed Pros: great service Cons: none that i came across more
