This garden center isn't the largest, nor is their stock. What they do have is of good quality, unlike that of the larger chains. They also spend the time to instruct you on the proper care of the plants, and know what they are talking about. If they don't have it, they will certainly try to locate it. They are a family business, so they really try and make you want to shop there. I enjoy it for the atmosphere, which is why I continue to shop there. more

Good Place to buy Landscaping 8/6/2005

My husband and I go to Cary Garden Center when we really need some good quality permanent landscaping items. Almost all the shrubs we have bought from the Cary Garden Center over the years have survived. Some of them have gotten larger than specified on their tags. The garden center is a fun place to shop. You get to pull a wagon around to collect your purchases. They have a pretty wide selection of plants. They also sell plant food and other supples but we get them at the larger home stores. We usually don't talk to the staff at the center but I would suspect that they are quite knowledgeable. They are a pretty expensive place for plants but I guess you get what you pay for. more
